I feel as if I would have mad adhesive marks on this bumper, im using mostly XPEL which may be why i think that. marks just by looking at it, though also being non metallic black would stress me out. Ive learned to work with the material and its adhesive over last 2 years, but i know this PPF is most definitely not XPEL based off of some of the ways u reposition it.
nice install though man. great vids.

Thank you. This is not xpel, it's suntek. That's interesting to hear about the work marks in the adhesive. What are you using for your slip solution mixture and then your tack? Black is the toughest color to install PPF when it comes to see work marks in the adhesive. I always say that you have to bring your A game when you are working on a black vehicle.

I’ve used both and do find suntek is more forgiving, I do like reaction and ultra tack series the best, not a fan on their tint lately as it fades in Phoenix pretty quick.
Right now I am using seventh generation soap, idk the exact ratio, I use a 5 gallon tank and just count out to 15 seconds.
Did a non metallic grey gx550 today, DAP pattern, xpel material, don’t know the series of film as it’s all wholesale brought to me by employers.
I notice even when trying to get a big stretch for one giving it a soft line still turns into a hard line because of the stretch, aswell even the pressure from my hand to stretch will smear adhesive around. You can get rid of just the silvering by relifting and doing the stretch though the adhesive shift will always be there.
I don’t know if I’m the only person with this issue with xpel, though I’ve used lots of other films and don’t run into it as badly.

You've got to stop using that harbor freight credit card and use capital one visa. What's in your tac solution? 😂

What happens if someone brings a car in that has a ceramic coat? Will you have to remove that first?
