They are! Out of all the van's I've used over the past 30 years, this one has been the most reliable one (even over the brand new VW / Merc Van's that I've had) 😉👌👍👍👍

Yes, luckily the floor is fine, just surface rust within that channel at the front, thankfully the vapour barrier did it's job, kept and diverted the water that leaked from the heater away from the rest of the flooring 😉👌👍👍👍.

Over 5 days 41 hours of work to destroy a 2 year build "😬". Yes, hopefully the 'Rebuild' won't be a disappointing one bud 😊👌👍👍👍.
Just finished my first build nearly and whilst its a totally different style (I opted for a cocktail bar and a king / super king bed) with as much wood as possible.
Watching your videos and you tear stuff down - insane amount of skill to build stuff. Like even your insulation is insanely good.
Literally was about to fit my sun visor and you saved my life.
Don't think many can appreciate the precision till you are in the thick of it.

Mark you have worked so hard ripping it all out in just 4 days I’m like a lot of people will all be waiting for the rebuilding not many if any other UA-camrs who are doing camper vans are so précis and knowledgable with out getting a so called expert in to do certain parts of there builds hats off to you Mark and Im sure a lot of people out there think the same and you help them give them advice, hope you and yours have a great weekend,we are off to Devon next month

@@Iveavan thanks. Missed it. Careful with compressor fridges. My Waeco packed up after a couple of months use. Replacement took 3 months to arrive. They wouldn't extend the warranty, either. Replacement has been ok.

@Iveavan not much. Sink doesn't drain well. Need to rework a seat base. And I need to finish it. Been living in it since middle of last year. Fridge was the compressor. Common problem, apparently. Poor QC. Can't be fixed, new fridge.

Love seeing your vids pop up Mark -always enjoyable as I work on a lot of Iveco campervans for customers. Have a special treat in the workshop today - a massive '90's Merc Vario camper that's in for bodywork & a full respray - will make a nice change from the Ivecos. :-) Plus I have carte blanche to do to it whatever I think will look cool. :-)

@@Iveavan I barely care Mark - I have customers who drive from Spain to get me to work on their vehicles - without advertising. I have loads to be at, no need for showing off. I just like the bit of banter/interaction with lads who are at the same stuff. I learn stuff, maybe someone else learns something - it keeps me out of the pub. :-)

Your van was amazing pal you should of sold it and bought a new van to start on you definitely would of got a rally good price for it 👍
That's why I'm keeping this van bud as I know "mechanically" it's sound and the body work and chassis is in excellent condition. Plus it wouldn't look very good on me if I sold the van with the floor in that state (even though I didn't realise how bad it was until I removed the vynal laminate flooring). Better the devil you know and all that 😉👌👍👍👍.

Second, i have a question about a clonk noise in the rear wagon when taking a sharp turn. Ive checked air susp, susp. Springs. All looks fine. Any Ideas? Cheers and keep it up G 🤘🏼:)
No worries matey and thank you! Depending what type of air suspension you have? As you may not have these if its a genuine iveco air suspension 🤔... Have you checked that your top shackle bolt isn't rubbing on the chassis? Usually an indacating that the rubber buffers are worn?
@@Iveavan Thanks for the reply:) yee its the same as the ones you had prior to the counterfitted (Airsusp). And the shacklebolts seems to be in place and have distance to the chassi. Nasty sound really, i know the load receptor is fked prob gonna sort that out first then get my hands on a gopro and see whats going on down there. Cheers mate :)✌️

External water tanks have their own faults “people even nick aqua roll handles”, however I use them every time over internal tanks including holding tanks, boilers, immersions, black water whatever when compared to the cost, damage and time internal tanks can cause. G
Cheers Graeme 👌👍, luckily the "vapour barrier" did it's job and only the 5mm over layer plywood took the hit over the 10mm subfloor layer leaving surface rust within the metal channel, I've got an flooring that I could tank the van with so leason learned with that one for sure bud 😉👌👍👍👍.

Hi Mark Great videos you make, i have an iveco daily 2.3l 2004 i am in the middle of converting, my fuel tank is on the passenger side, yours is on the driver side is this something you done yourself?.

Bloody hell Mark, all that dismantling because of a leak via the Truma,.......should be re-named `Trauma` boiler - I would very tempted to paint some bituminous paint or lay some EPDM rubber directly on the metal floor, and/or perhaps mount the boiler in a bowl or recess of some sort with a hole through the floor (in case it could happen again).
No! Absolutely not Trauma's fault, as it was third hand 😉. Nor was I aware by the amount of damage it actually did cause until I removed the flooring "😬".... This is the actual reason why I'm doing the van again 😉👌👍👉ua-cam.com/video/a7XQFlHJ05M/v-deo.html
