I have been spending money again! I decided to treat myself to a new feeder chair ready for the upcoming fishing season.

Hi I purchased the chair last year really impressed. If you are considering buying the wheels I would recommended getting the single wheel version .I got the two wheel version wheels fit to the legs iam 6 ft 2 and puts far too much weight onto the wheel not very stable .

Great chair Matt and nice review 👍 one tip I would give you is dont screw your butt rest into the top of the leg, use your cross arm as it will give you much more leg room 👍
Great chair, had mine a year and have loads of preston bits on it. When mines set up fully it’s a right bit of kit. New to the channel and enjoying the content

Excellent, just got one of those as well. Using Preston inserts and universal arm so I can fit the feeder arm and side tray to it. Don’t forget the arms swing out of the way and can be Velcroed up for more room to each side as well.

Great chair had quite a few korum chairs in the past and this one is the best . Some people don't like the arms being on but it's all down to personal preferences.

Hi Westy, I bought the same chair last year and I can’t fault it. I also bought the barrow kit with it as well. Yes it’s expensive but well worth it. You can change it from the chair to a barrow in literally 60 seconds for me. I thought it was worth the money great review as always tight lines alan.
Great review mate, just started going to commercial Carp fisheries in the last year or so up here in Scotland, I’ve learned a lot from you and your dad. Predominately a trout and salmon angler but I’ve did well for the Carp and Roach using your method feeder tactics. All the best to you and your dad, tight lines in 2024.

I bought this chair last year its great even the wheel barrow kit as long as your not overloading it is good, only thing I would suggest is if you get the side tray is get the smaller one as the bigger tray is not super strong but I put a rod rest stick under it
I’ve got the S23 standard as don’t need to armrests.
I also got the waterproof cover (about £15) stops the chair getting wet and muddy in the winter months.
About time you made a decent chair purchase Matt.. I have this one too. ! But paid a lot more than £135 quid. That's a steal. I havn't bought the barrow conversion as i decided a proper barrow carries more gear and is more stable. But I have add the Nu Fish Aqualock slim side tray. Which is a bit expensive at £95 but a fantastic addition. keeping all your bait, catapult, phone, and scissors close to hand. You never need to get out of the chair..! Looking forward to dad having more say on the new mic..

I got the normal S23 , as it was on offer for £75 at Angling Direct some time ago and couldn’t justify paying double for the arm rests and adjustable legs.Is brilliant and so so light, had it for a year now.Hope you”ll enjoy it and also hope the never ending winter will be over soon so i can back out😅😅.❤
I got a caperlan and korum bait bucket after watching your vids and the only problems I have with the chair is that the teeth are pants, the long arm bank stick I have had too adapt after watching you and the no arm rest and recliner but apart from that for the money there bang on for a starter chair or even for anyone really with a table and feeder arm thrown in too so thanks for videoing that back in the day.

I bought one of these last year, and love it, also picked up the wheel barrow conversion kit in a sale at Xmas, so am now fishing further away from the car park at my complex 😁. not lazy...much..

If its on sale yes, full price no, however, getting to those far away swims that no one goes to was worth it for me and allowed me to take more kit @@WestysAngling

Just announced a version 2 of this with improvements. I'm in same boat as you westy, bought mine just B4 chrimbo.
One thing you will find out on the bank the material on the back rest really keeps the draughts out Barrow kit is great on my korum chair Mind you in my saloon cars boot there is now minimal room for all the gear I like to take

Hi Welty I am on my second Koram chair I had the 26 mil round firs and now I have the s 23 with the barrow kit ,as I am 75 it is great getting my kit to my peg.

I just returned mine and swapped it for the DIAWA one. That KORUM is the most wrickity, wobbly chair I've ever sat on. Mine only arrived this morning and was returned to Angling Direct 30 mins later and exchanged it without a
fuss
I bought mine last summer and use it for both feeder and margin pole sessions. The folding arm is a plus here. The adaptors meant I could reuse trays etc from other brands that I have. The tilt controls are a bit fiddly but otherwise fine. Its not heavy and folds down well. It supports one of my most successful methods where the carp think I am dozing in the sun and think they won't be noticed nicking my bait.

How well does it work when using a margin pole, and it did you buy any specific accessories for this purpose?
@@CiscoKid66 I use it for margin pole, although move the chair to a slight angle. The only accssoory I use is a sock pole screwed onto the front leg threads
I might use a ripple on the rear leg in addition to the pole sock.
Pity they don't do a settee version would have been great for you and dad.😂

I have an older version i think,it comes with a detachable wheel and handlebars tho,but this ones decent.
Hi Westy, I have had the chair for a couple of years, it's very comfortable. I suggest you buy the double butt rests and maybe the waterproof seat cover. I have the wheelbarrow attachment, this tends to collapse if it's loaded and you go over a bump😮
I actually have the double arm attachment 💪🏻 and the side bucket 🎣 I think I will still get the barrow , seems a decent idea although it’s had a few bad reviews
Hi Westby I bought the wheel kit for the s23 and found it very unstable and awkward to wheel when I put ruck bag rods and Brolly on it but the chair excellent.Dave.
Hi mate I got the s23 when they first come out (£180) couple of points that has put me off using it , very heavy and bulky also had trouble with getting the back angle to suit me,either too upright or too far back , but the main thing that I found to be a problem was when you put the feeder arm on every time you move in the chair the arm + rod bounces all over the place , I’ve gone back to using my old fox warrior chair
Westy I have the standard accessory chair cant fault it,very comfortable for a day on the bank what was even better it was the bargain price of £70 as it was ex display and I do like a bargain,U do think you should buy your dad one,keep up the great work.

Should have waited as the new mark 2 is coming, one major plus is the new has a flatbed design so no leaning leg syndrome 😊
It’s the same chair pretty much matey ! Few minor changes and probably more expensive 😂
Would have to disagree with that having had the deluxe s23, it’s pretty well known that the legs start leaning, the new one has a flat bar bar frame like the preston inception ( preston and korum being the same company) which stays straight

I know and it’s literally the exact same and probably another £60
Send it back and get preston monster 36. I had one these lasted a year

Just getting back into fishing after a 25 year break. Interested in getting this chair and wondering what you think about it having used it especially fitting accessories. Are the legs strong enough at 23mm especially for a brolly adapter which we definitely need at the moment

@GaryBromehead yes I do have one but I always use a brolly spike where I can as well which takes a lot of strain off the chair
Do any feeder chairs come with attachments to hold a brolly or is this normally an extra ?
You can get brolly attachments , had them before, they are never strong enough !

Try Preston innovations, they do a similar feeder arm that should still come with the Korum adapter

@benbrown7946 at this time of year 30-40 minutes between casts unless they are feeding heavy. 35g method is fine 👍🏻
