BRIGHTON SQUID SESSIONS PART 1 - UK SQUID FISHING - SQUID FISHING

In this episode of Hook Line Trigger, I venture out on a cold, still evening, seeking squid on the south coast of the UK's, Brighton. Using a simple single squid jig setup, casting repeatedly into the shallow clear water in the pitch dark and retrieving extremely slowly, it turned in to a productive evening catching a doze of the target species. i don't know what is more impressive, the fact that you didn't slip and fall on those pretty dangerous rocks at night or the fact that you didn't snag your jig on them, Cuz i can tell you for a fact i would've been doing both all night long

😂 it's a bit treacherous down there for sure but a productive squid mark on the right night. 👍

Thanks! They are amazing eating, myself and family are big fans of calamari, especially super fresh from the sea, I don't buy shop sold squid or fish, we only eat what I catch, I feel really fortunate to be able to provide delicious fresh seafood for my family. I keep the wings and heads as bass bait, can't get much better bait for them. 👍

Thanks! I just don't like it up there tbh, I prefer a bit of peace and quiet 😂 I believe rod prices are £10 a rod and don't think it opens all the time.
