Vespa Scooter. In this episode we make take a 2015 Vespa px 150 for a test run. It’s equipped with a dr 177 kit, 24 si carb, polini exhaust. Don’t forget to subscribe and like 👍
I have same set up but with a revolver exhaust running a 122 main jet the dr kit is great for distance runs but if I had to do it again I’d use the bgm 177 kit
I think this kit is great value for the money, but the next time I would might spend some more money the get more power. Although I think cast iron is good for touring. I have 125 main jet right now but as it gets warmer outside I will have to change to a smaller.
@@Nordicexplorer1 I got 20000 km on my DR177 with Sito+ and 24/24 carb..indeed great workhorse very reliable setup never had a single issue. I get top speed around 110 with it, but as you say is more a cruiser than a racer..
Hello. Don’t know how many bhp, but these late Vespa models are originally restricted to about 8 bhp here in Sweden and it’s a lot more than that. It goes better than a stock px200. 95 km/h as a good cruising speed and a top speed close to 120 km/h depending on ambient temperature and jetting. I would say that the exhaust and the Zeus read speed ignition makes a big difference in performance.
Pure hell😮

@@loftalofta8423 Did you install it plug&play or did you matched the engine casing to the lager ports and carb?
@@ratscoot not necessary on this. Matches already.
Tiger ❤
sounds great, so you removed the smart carb and went back to the SI carb?
Yes the Smartcarb is fitted to my new bike (touring-59) and the px is for sale.
👌👌
Do you use standard vespa battery charging (AC/halfwave) or have you changed it (DC/fullwave)?
I use standard.
nu e jag kanske lite sen, men grattis till 200 prenumeranter!
Tack för det 👍. Målet är tusen, men det är en lång bit kvar till det.
@@Nordicexplorer1 du kommer nog allt dit ska du se!

Not compared to a stock px150 2015.
