Never thought anything weird of “the beds” bc my best friend and her husband are exactly the same!! She has “her room” (a book room w a bed actually) and he has “his room” (for gaming lol) and then they have THEIR room and I think it’s a great idea!!
I'm nit married nor have anyone to marry yet, but I've written down things I want to have after and one of it is this kind of room settings. Two room for each of us and one room for both of us
I've been reading some of your recommendations lately and noticed our tastes are way different than I thought it was. I was somehow dissapointed when i didn't enjoy some of them as much as you did. Now I realize the reason I love your videos is your enthusiasm towards reading. I play one of your videos whenever I feel like i need motivation to read, upon watching it I pick up a book you probably wouldn't be interested in and this is way better than having the same taste. You're talking about something entirely different from my general taste and I still find it inspiring to read my kind of books. Just realized it and loved it. Keep posting with that great energy and enthusiasm of yours! Lots of love.
I am the same. I watch the videos also for motivation. In one video you, Haley, showed Amazon Bestsellers und every book you did not read, I did instead. So, yeah I feel the same as you do, Ayse, and you described it beautifully ❤
Honestly i don’t agree with most of her favorite but I love watching her because she has such creative video ideas. And even though our taste are very very different. She actually got me into reading.
Same but her motivation just makes me want to read though for me personally I wouldn't go to this channel for book recommendations but I still love watching her videos.
Omg Haley. I’m going through a breakup and honestly this video popping up is a life saver. Your videos are always so soothing and remind me that life doesn’t have to be hard. Thank you 🫶
Haley, I call myself an obsessive excessive reader, i read dozens of books a year, but you literally made me fall in love with reading all over again!!!🤓🤓
Idk why I never thought about the fact that I could find playlists on Spotify specifically made to match specific books😯??? I’m about to elevate my entire reading experience
you mentioned this book-I actually highly hihhly highly highly recommend house on the cerulean sea absolutely my favorite book!! it’s found family but also romance and fantasy but not in your face: fantasy integrates very naturally into the story. it had me giggling and in tears all at once!!!! such a sweet and heartfelt story
the plot was based off of the awful past in canada and the residential schools and day school that stole indigenous child from their families in order to “remove the indian from the child”. it’s heartbreaking. i loved HOTCS so so much and it also broke my heart and made me so angry knowing the real life history of my country…
Yes, time travel romance!! That started with me on Time Traveler's Wife. And the movie, About Love. Can't wait to find what clean time travel romance books we should read. That is definitely my sweet spot.
When you got to the plot twist in Five Survive l, you had the same reaction that I had when I first read it. You have also made me want to get so many more books. Love you, Haley. Keep up the good work. Happy Reading📚❤️💕
I read five survive too and i loved it! Although wasn’t it set like on the side of a road? Maybe i read the setting wrong but i dont recall it being in a camper park? 😅
Time travel romance/ historical fiction/ GREAT read: I LOVE Connie Willis' "To Say Nothing of the Dog", "Blackout", and "All Clear". SO GOOD and the audiobooks are also great! To Say Nothing of the Dog quickly became my favorite book of all time for both the story and how hilarious the audiobook narrator was!
Watching your videos have lead me to Destiny and Sara’s videos as well and collectively watching all of your videos has got me back into reading physical books as well and not just on the kindle 💕💕
ikr. I used to be like that, but lately have been staying up to finish my books. The books from before were just not as interesting as the ones im reading now.
Find books you might like. Maybe thrillers for a start. I think you should read The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides or better yet, No Exit by Taylor Adams.
Vindooly I just watched your video but start with thriller if u get bored fast or some murder mystery if thats ur type if u like thriller read "No Exit" its a really good book
OH MY GOSH!! A NEW HALEY VIDEO!! YASSS!! Also!! She started talking about time-travel romance, and how they always fall in love, and all I could think of was: 'Aaron always fell in love with her. Every time.' just because Aaron "yes love?" Warner is supreme 😂❤❤
I don't think I could read even 3 books in a week congrats on everything you deserve all of it ! :) also to anyone reading this I hope you feel amazing and beautiful because you deserve it and you are awesome!
I read this book in 2019 and STILL teared up when you did just remembering the ending. I did not know was it was made into a movie and since I'm off today I know what I'm doing!
I just started using good reads a few weeks ago and followed you and saw all the books you were reading and seeing you read them in this video was cool I don’t know why?! 😂
i was wondering how you organize all of your books on your bookshelf. do you have a video on how you organize them? anyways this video was sooo good like always! ❤
I found my favorite 5 star series called before the coffee gets cold. I consider those books and your videos “my comfort reads and watches” my day is 100 times better when you post! Keep it up! Edit: I also totally recommend the series. It is a time travel plot line, but mainly just focuses as “people watching” but in a book
Totally worth having saved this for a time I could sit down and properly watch with no distractions. I love your videos Haley! Thanks for some new exciting book recommendations :)
I would definitely recommend A Thousand Pieces of You ( first book in the Firebird Trilogy) it's kind of a dystopian-sci fi romance with time travel and the multiverse. One of my favorite books ever!
Haley I'm obsessed with your reading vlogs, your vedios got me into reading in English tho it's not my first language, and I realized that we have really similar tastes, even when you're reading books out of my comfort zone I still enjoy watching that so much, you really make reading sound more fun and enjoyable, love your energy, lots of love from Egypt
Haley! Can we please get a family channel cause we enjoy the little features of Ryan in your channel and your little feature in his channel. Love you♥️🇸🇿
omg you HAVE to read the "ruby red" triologie if you love time travel romance. i reread it last month and fell in love all over again - the slow burn is just amazing and waaaayyy to cute
I read “The Storied Life of A.J.Fikry” immediately after I watched this, searching for something good to read. Oh my gosh. I read it in one sitting and was blown away how this book hit me. So so good. Now I’m picking up Tomorrow Tomorrow and Tomorrow
Oh my, I finished the entire A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series this month and I still haven't recovered it was so good 😵 I'm definitely going to check out Five Survive now!
I’ve literally been waiting to see your thoughts on binding 13 to see if I wanted to read it. I have similar opinions on spice and stuff like that as you and thanks so much for giving an honest review of the book!! Now I know it’s probably not for me. ❤️❤️❤️
Ohmygod reading elsewhere by Gabrielle Z. when I was younger was life changing. Still one of my favorites so watching you recommend her now is so exciting! Totally added both recommendations to my list
RECOMENDATION since you wanted kind of a sci-fi tone with multiple timelines of love one really good one that kind of fits that category and is just SO good is the darkness outside us, one of my favorites!!
Hi Haley!! You said you liked the time travel lover tropes, so I have a recommendation for you (unless of course you’ve already read it!)! It’s called Yesterday Is History written by Kosoko Jackson. It’s about a boy who can travel in time because of a surgery he had, and he falls in love with a boy from the past and from the future! I think you would really like it!! ❤
i have a video idea! you should let your dog pick your reads for a week so basically you can choose a couple books on your tbr you want to read and place a treat infront of every book and whichever treat your dog goes to first is the book you read and you can do this as many times as you want! it would be so cool to see this as a video!
I’ve been wanting to read A.J. for forever and this was the motivation I needed 👏🏼 actually I HIGHLY recommended The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry - it’s a three book series and personally I felt each one was better than the last, but they were all beautifully written with dynamic characters and I just think you’d love it 😁
can you make a video about your favorite romance books🥲im not really a romance reader because i find most of them boring or cringey but i do enjoy a good ya once in a while they are just hard to come by bc it is very hard to know what it's like until you read it since i cant relay on anyones taste and i dont have enough experience to properly assume what will work for me but i trust your taste and you are probably the only booktuber i watch and match in taste that i feel like i could rely on you when it comes to romance books so if you made a video about your favorites it would be sooo helpful in finding the right ones :)
NOOOO not you dnfing b13 :( I really hope you pick it up someday again! if you do, you gotta read the second book right after, they're so good! very character driven
you talking about the time travel romance trope made me think that you'd probably really like "the time traveler's wife" by Audrey Niffenegger!! so so good
You really need to read Pack Up the Moon by Kristan Higgins. That book pulled so much emotion out of me, that I feel like you would give it a 5 stars. There's a dog, very wholesome (no spice) found family trope and the writing is very professionally done. It does deal with grief but, it talks about life in a beautiful way. 😢
For the time-traveler romance trope, you should read the Ruby Red Trilogy!!! They arre really cute books and I think about the story all the time (also I’m pretty sure there’s no spice😁)
Swear on This Life is one of my absolute favorites! I could just feel that connection they had. I have Sweet Thing & Wish You Were Here by her that I want to read soon. (Also enjoyed BWWS, but it was a bit slower for me, still good though.)
1. The unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young 2. The dead romantics by Ashley Poston 3. Binding 13 by Chloe Walsh (#1 boys of tommen serie) 4. Swear on this life by Renée Carlino 5. Five survive by Holly Jackson 6. The very secret society of irregular witches by Sangu Mandanna (#1 in the serie) 7. The storied life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin
Hi Haley! I love your videos (especially the longer ones) and you have inspired me to pick up many new books that I wouldn’t have tried before! Since you liked The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, I think you should try The House in the Cerulean Sea. I love this book so much and gave it a 5 stars! If you do read this book, I recommend the audiobook. I am usually the type of reader that starts with an audiobook to ease myself into it then ditch it for reading it normally, but the narrator delivers it perfectly and does a unique voice for each character, which is honestly just the best! I hope you try it, and I would love to see your reaction!
I get one 5-star read like once every few years. I could love 90% of the book but there's almost always 10% that puts the book at 4.5 stars. ): I enjoy reading but because most books are not anywhere near 5 stars, I am constantly feeling like I'm not enjoying reading as much as other people.
You inspired me to read books until I found a 5 star, and then post the titles and a quick description of each one. You were reading romances, so I decided to start there. 1. Persuasion by Jane Austen: 5 stars. Austen's most likable heroine by far in a romance that doesn't depend heavily on plot contrivances to get the couple together or keep them apart, just in depth character and relationship development. It's second tier Austen, but second tier Austen is better than any romance writer not named Bronte, Wharton, Lawrence, or Tolstoy. Total time spent on challenge: A little less than four hours. 15 minutes to go through my Kindle to find a romance that I already knew would be 5 stars that was short enough to read in a single morning, and three and a half hours to read it.
there’s a book called for all time by shanna miles that sounds really similar to the falling in love in every universe trope! i haven’t read it so i don’t know exactly but from the synopsis it sounds like something you would like!
You would love the kindle series “Parallel” by Elle O’Roark!! I am not a Romance girly but the time travel aspect made me rethink all my reading decisions, I binged the series so fast and I seek this type of story in all stories now!!!
I really think you should read they both die at the end it is truly amazing it is a short read but I got super invested it is quite sad but also has some fun plot twists in it. Very much recommend to anyone
Hi Haley! I have a question, as a fellow Christian. Have you ever felt discernment about reading fantasy/SiFi? Those type of genres? I think reading is a super fun and great way of entertainment, but I also feel that reading can become and idol in my life if that’s all I’m doing. I try my best to read the Word of God and spend time in the Bible, then spend time reading. And have definitely felt discernment of open door, fantasy and SiFi at times.
A 26+ minutes video from Haley is ✨PERFECTION✨
ABSOLUTELY
YES
TRUE!
Yess, agreeee!! 😍
Exactly!!
Never thought anything weird of “the beds” bc my best friend and her husband are exactly the same!! She has “her room” (a book room w a bed actually) and he has “his room” (for gaming lol) and then they have THEIR room and I think it’s a great idea!!
Not going to lie, at first I thought that it was different and wasn't sure how I felt about it. Now though I fully love the idea
this exactly like thats my dream!! everyone needs their own space where they can enjoy their hobbies and have some me-time !!
I'm nit married nor have anyone to marry yet, but I've written down things I want to have after and one of it is this kind of room settings. Two room for each of us and one room for both of us

agree agree agree. tha genre of fantasy is called low fantasy (fantastical things happen but in a world that is identical to ours)
the plot was based off of the awful past in canada and the residential schools and day school that stole indigenous child from their families in order to “remove the indian from the child”. it’s heartbreaking. i loved HOTCS so so much and it also broke my heart and made me so angry knowing the real life history of my country…
June Farrow was the quickest 5 star for me. I will never get over that romance!
Yes, time travel romance!! That started with me on Time Traveler's Wife. And the movie, About Love. Can't wait to find what clean time travel romance books we should read. That is definitely my sweet spot.

the tv show, The Good Place also has the time-traveling romance trope in it! It's only 4 seasons, super easy to binge:)

I just rated the Saturday night ghost club a 5 star 👻 short, sweet, sad, and spooky. I adored it!
For time travel romance, Outlander by Diana Gabaldon is 10000% a good series. I cried my eyes out some books
for that time travel trope where the guy knows and is already in love but the girl doesn’t the fallen series by lauren kate is PERFECT
Time Travel romance? I recommend One Last Stop and Pride and Prejudice and Pittsburgh. I hope you like them, Haley!!
I’m in my book era because of Haley
She is amazing and her book reviews are spot on.

If you’re looking for a time travel romance book try Midnight Strikes!! It is also a little slow getting into but I absolutely loved it!
You should read “the dream daughter” by Diane chamberlin it has an incredible time travel element and gives all the feels!
pleaaase read recursion!!! it fits exactly the trope that you described about the romance and a type of time travel.
You should do a video where you read the twilight series & the crave series and compare them! Ive read both!!
Yessss🎉
I read the storied life of AJ Fikry and it was charming but I was underwhelmed so I’m actually kind of surprised how much you liked it
the thing i appreciate the most about you is the fact that you do not over use the word "trope". thank you.
you know it's gonna be a good day when Haley posts ❤
