I've been reading some of your recommendations lately and noticed our tastes are way different than I thought it was. I was somehow dissapointed when i didn't enjoy some of them as much as you did. Now I realize the reason I love your videos is your enthusiasm towards reading. I play one of your videos whenever I feel like i need motivation to read, upon watching it I pick up a book you probably wouldn't be interested in and this is way better than having the same taste. You're talking about something entirely different from my general taste and I still find it inspiring to read my kind of books. Just realized it and loved it. Keep posting with that great energy and enthusiasm of yours! Lots of love.

Honestly i don’t agree with most of her favorite but I love watching her because she has such creative video ideas. And even though our taste are very very different. She actually got me into reading.

you mentioned this book-I actually highly hihhly highly highly recommend house on the cerulean sea absolutely my favorite book!! it’s found family but also romance and fantasy but not in your face: fantasy integrates very naturally into the story. it had me giggling and in tears all at once!!!! such a sweet and heartfelt story
agree agree agree. tha genre of fantasy is called low fantasy (fantastical things happen but in a world that is identical to ours)
the plot was based off of the awful past in canada and the residential schools and day school that stole indigenous child from their families in order to “remove the indian from the child”. it’s heartbreaking. i loved HOTCS so so much and it also broke my heart and made me so angry knowing the real life history of my country…

Find books you might like. Maybe thrillers for a start. I think you should read The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides or better yet, No Exit by Taylor Adams.

Vindooly I just watched your video but start with thriller if u get bored fast or some murder mystery if thats ur type if u like thriller read "No Exit" its a really good book
Try audiobooks and speed them up a little

Time travel romance/ historical fiction/ GREAT read: I LOVE Connie Willis' "To Say Nothing of the Dog", "Blackout", and "All Clear". SO GOOD and the audiobooks are also great! To Say Nothing of the Dog quickly became my favorite book of all time for both the story and how hilarious the audiobook narrator was!

I really think you should read they both die at the end it is truly amazing it is a short read but I got super invested it is quite sad but also has some fun plot twists in it. Very much recommend to anyone
You really need to read Pack Up the Moon by Kristan Higgins. That book pulled so much emotion out of me, that I feel like you would give it a 5 stars. There's a dog, very wholesome (no spice) found family trope and the writing is very professionally done. It does deal with grief but, it talks about life in a beautiful way. 😢
i have a video idea! you should let your dog pick your reads for a week so basically you can choose a couple books on your tbr you want to read and place a treat infront of every book and whichever treat your dog goes to first is the book you read and you can do this as many times as you want! it would be so cool to see this as a video!
For the time-traveler romance trope, you should read the Ruby Red Trilogy!!! They arre really cute books and I think about the story all the time (also I’m pretty sure there’s no spice😁)
can you make a video about your favorite romance books🥲im not really a romance reader because i find most of them boring or cringey but i do enjoy a good ya once in a while they are just hard to come by bc it is very hard to know what it's like until you read it since i cant relay on anyones taste and i dont have enough experience to properly assume what will work for me but i trust your taste and you are probably the only booktuber i watch and match in taste that i feel like i could rely on you when it comes to romance books so if you made a video about your favorites it would be sooo helpful in finding the right ones :)

You should read the heart of dread series! It consists of 3 books, "frozen", "stolen" and the last one "golden". It's a mix of fantasy, sci-fi, romance and it's age rating is young adult.

there’s a book called for all time by shanna miles that sounds really similar to the falling in love in every universe trope! i haven’t read it so i don’t know exactly but from the synopsis it sounds like something you would like!
You would love the kindle series “Parallel” by Elle O’Roark!! I am not a Romance girly but the time travel aspect made me rethink all my reading decisions, I binged the series so fast and I seek this type of story in all stories now!!!
You inspired me to read books until I found a 5 star, and then post the titles and a quick description of each one. You were reading romances, so I decided to start there.
1. Persuasion by Jane Austen: 5 stars. Austen's most likable heroine by far in a romance that doesn't depend heavily on plot contrivances to get the couple together or keep them apart, just in depth character and relationship development. It's second tier Austen, but second tier Austen is better than any romance writer not named Bronte, Wharton, Lawrence, or Tolstoy.
Total time spent on challenge: A little less than four hours. 15 minutes to go through my Kindle to find a romance that I already knew would be 5 stars that was short enough to read in a single morning, and three and a half hours to read it.
You should do a video where you read the twilight series & the crave series and compare them! Ive read both!!

If you’re looking for a time travel romance book try Midnight Strikes!! It is also a little slow getting into but I absolutely loved it!

Hi Haley! I love your videos (especially the longer ones) and you have inspired me to pick up many new books that I wouldn’t have tried before! Since you liked The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, I think you should try The House in the Cerulean Sea. I love this book so much and gave it a 5 stars! If you do read this book, I recommend the audiobook. I am usually the type of reader that starts with an audiobook to ease myself into it then ditch it for reading it normally, but the narrator delivers it perfectly and does a unique voice for each character, which is honestly just the best! I hope you try it, and I would love to see your reaction!
If time travel is scratching an itch for you, try the Time Traveller's Wife! It's the OG time travel romance in my mind and I cried so hard while reading it.
