- Since their divorce, Christina and Tarek have been having trouble synchronising their schedules. They decide to buy a house without seeing it first and it is THE WORST they have seen in seven years!

Yeah. She left town when he had cancer and needed her the most too. She is the most selfish person I have seen in a long time. They should take her off the show. It is so much better without her. Why should he be fair with her? She is a total loser! She marries men, has a kid or two and leaves them high and dry. She's 2 for 2!
Caught that. That’s his thing after the divorce in these shows, blame everything on Christina and always try to make her look bad so he can look good in comparison. I can’t stand seeing that in a person.

@Corey Sandman I know that. My comment was concerning the whereabouts of the children, considering they were both out of town and didn't tell eachother. Since they are co-parenting and should know the kids a safe and sound before leaving town.

I love watching tarek and Christine & how they interact... she knows him so well when sabotaging him to select the wall paper (lol). That was comical watching his reactions. I don’t know who does well on turning a crappy house to such beauty.
As much as I don’t usually like Christina’s, um, style, that peninsula that Tarek wants to take credit for is an abomination. It looks like a mistake the way it hangs out into that opening into the next room, and is covered in reclaimed wood that clashes with the floors. Horrible! 😱
Yeah, the peninsula is ugly with that would finish that competes with the flooring. Why no fridge, makes no sense. Some nice details in the bathrooms but overall... pretty underwhelming.
It would have looked better if it was white like the cabinets, but I don't like how it sticks out either.
They should have used the reclaimed wood on the accent wall. Would have tied into the peninsula and tied it all together.
Whether together or not, you two are cleaning up a lot of homes out that way. I really think the wallpaper works! Love your designs

Normally I’m ok with both, they each have annoying traits but he’s wrong on this. He was away as well, and shouldn’t expect her to be on standby for work. She has a right to a personal life. There’s still anger there.

Tarek, being passive aggressive is so juvenile. I guarantee he's not telling her his schedule unless its got to do with the kids. You can tell he's still hurt and lashing out. I get they wanted to make money but maybe a season off would have been healthier. It hurt them in the long run putting their personal life on TV during this period.

Even though this looks beautiful, separate rooms are better IMHO. I know the "new" style is open rooms. But personally I like the separation of walls, if only to escape social interactions. Sometimes, solitude is GOOD.

The thing is that these two still care about each other. But they don't want to admit it. They flaunt each other. I shouldn't have gotten a divorce. Someday everything will be changed. They break each other's lives with their intransigence. The time will pass and you will regret about all of this.

First of all, I am cheap, I would never think that wallpaper for just one medium-size wall would be anywhere near $ 500. Second, why would he think that they are limited to only two paint colors.Third, if you are selling a house for over $600,000 why is every little thing such a deal-breaker. On a different home remodeling show, the homeowner bought a house for $400,000 and had a budget of $175,000 just for remodeling. They wanted a mini wine fridge that cost $300 and was told there was not enough money in the budget to do the fridge.

You both are a bit childish. Divorced yet act as is you have ownership over Christina. This won’t last long.
I think he is a decent guy and dad. He works hard and all he wants is if they are going to continue doing business together is for her to work somewhat too. I believe Christina is childish. Tarek does have emotions and gets a little hurt by her when she does things.
This is their company, not their marriage or relationship. Its not "ownership" over her, but it is HIS job in the company to run the financial aspects of everything. That is why final decisions on costs usually go through him first. She is in charge of design, so that's why she mostly wins those disagreements. They both have their moments of caving to the other, but for the most part, they each have their authority in different areas of the business.
From a house-flipping perspective, I like them both equally. They are both good at their jobs, but their respective places in the company conflict from time-time. It is no different for any one who partners in a business with someone else.
