So a up-date on my Google Home, a little one......My husband eyed it with suspicion, until he heard the quality of music those little speakers put out, us, from the days of HUGE speakers, turn tables woofers, tweeters...and a 8 TRACK TAPE DECK! Woot-woot! Love this thing...;)

mine is coming in today it's pretty cool I had the Amazon echo for quite some time kind of got tired of hearing sorry I do not have the answer to the question I heard ha so frustrating now going to have the Google assistant in my room and move Alexa into my living room and family room, but great video keep it up.

I really like the hutch in the corner there. It's quite unique and eye-catching. Nevertheless, the music in the background of your video was quite dominant, with the Google Home. I couldn't hear you and the device very well. Very informative video though. Well presented. On a side note, Ireland is a very beautiful place....

The main annoying thing in google home you have to call by 'ok google or hey google' a long word and you can not change it. in amazon alexa you can change the name and also its simple to call. I hope google will change the calling name to simple one.
so it's basically your phone, but not portable and no screen and bigger.

hey great video. while I do appreciate the video I have a suggestion. just use the hey Google command and you will set off a lot less devices and keep a lot more people interested in watching the video. I had to stop about halfway through with five phones, two Google homes and two tablets things were getting a bit hectic every time you said Okay Google.

How did you get to look and add things to your calendar?
+webwad unfortunately for now you have to manually adjust your calendar. You do this by with the continued use of the Google Calendar app or in a web browser like chrome. Hopefully soon it will be possible to tell Google Home to make calendar adjustments. Thanks for watching!!

+Yuyopii Google Home will respond to anyone who asks questions or interacts with the device. However, it can only be linked to one Google account at this time so all activities will be registered with your account or respond based on your account. I really want to like Google Home but all the examples I have seen what you ask it is really basic, things like asking what the weather is or what the time is. Those examples can be easily achieved by looking at the home screen of any smart phone. I like the tech, but just don't have the need to ask what the weather is.

You can see it that way, I did for a few, but it really is handy. There is plenty of times at home when you just don't want to get the phone or are in a situation where you using a phone isn't practical (cooking). In those instances and just regular use, Google Home is very handy! Thanks for watching and commenting.
It requires your phone which can do all the same things. Don't get these devices.
While the Google Home app is required to setup Google home and it does help manage the device. I have used Google Home with my phone turned off on numerous occasions. Thanks for watching!
PSU Concepts Thanks maybe this just doesn't make sense for me because I always have my phone on me and can always ask it to do the same things. My phone is also rarely turned off.
I felt the same way at first. However, it becomes very handy quickly. Not always having to reach for your phone or look at your phone. You can just ask and it talks. Night time is great, if you wake up, just say hey google whats the time. Plus the far field microphones are good. I will explain that in my review!
PSU Concepts Actually I have my phone set up so I don't have to grab it. I just shout at it without touching my phone.

Asking it to consult the crystal ball was pretty funny, but I asked it if it knew where i lived, and it directed me to the local gas station...hummmm. Guess I better start from the beginning again......
+Shelley Collins open the Google Home app and check in the settings or Google Maps and make sure your home address is set so it will know where you are.
