Awesome video brotha. From one Texan to another 🍻
Added to my favorites, thanks a lot !!!!
Thank you too!
Great content! Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Great vid, looks great!
Thanks!
1.5 looks perfect. Same stick wheels that I have on my RST. Ordered them.
I get asked regularly if I added larger tires.
I’m in, you sold me. Definitely doing it soon
Posting my follow up vid shortly. I am still happy with them.
Red lock tight seems excessive. Will be basically welded together if you ever gotta take them off again. Blue would be better I'd think.
It's easy to pop red. I don't think it's made like it used to be.
If it’s light, than is most likely just aluminum cast.
We make our adapters with 6061 t6 billet aluminum and we are experts at what we do!
Let me know for any wheel adapter needs
thanks for the info
Do u have the truck leveled or lifted in the front?
Couple questions. You said you had 20 Inch wheels but those look like my 18 inch wheels that came stock on my '19 trailboss. Can you confirm those are 20s and not 18s?
Second question you said the rim has enough space where it can fit flush against the spacer even though the factory stuck stick out past the spacer slightly?
Tire size is LT265/60R20 / 20" OEM. The back of my rim is machined out where the rotor lugs line up. The stick out very little past the spacer. like 1/8 of an inch.
Did the wheels rub?
Are spacers Safe? for driving long distances?
I just added some method race wheels on my truck and leveled the front 2.5” . My brake caliper and rim is like a credit card space 😅 wondering if these spacers would solve that problem and give and give me more space
yes, the spacers were needed. The front wheels would have rubbed if not.
I would use blue threadlock. Red is permanant.
Good to know. I used what was provided
wish you would’ve shown an actual walkaround video of it from the outside. hard to picture the stance from 2 ft away from the truck inside a garage. otherwise very nice video.
Noted!
I noticed only 5 of 6 lug nuts for the spacer were secured using the torque wrench - the last one was not tightened. Maybe video editing…
Could be right. When I rotated my tires afterwards, I double checked the tightening on all the spacers to make sure that none of the lug nuts were loose. Thanks for watching out!
Hey Bobby I have a Chevy 2021 trail boss I got some spacers but it didn’t fit on my stock wheels the middle ring didn’t flush in with the wheels and the spacers. Did you did something to fit them in that will help me?
I did not have to do any modification to the rotor or the spacers. My OEM wheels (20") worked fine and are machined out where the original lugs stick out slightly. The ones I purchased in the description worked great.
Need hub centric spacer. A must if you wanna run spacers!
Great video I don't want to be that guy but when using a torque wrench you only want to use the bottom part of the handle, the grip. Using the shaft in combination with the handle will throw the torque specs off
Thanks for the tip
The lip on the spacer. Is it suppose to fit into the center of the wheel? Meaning the spacer is sitting flush to the wheel. That lip on the spacer is giving me a 1/4” gap from spacer to wheel. Is that normal? Thanks.
my wheel is flush with the spacer. I had to move it around to make sure I was flush.
You went with the hub centric right?
yes, correct.
Did you have any issues with the spacing when turning
No, I have not had any issues at all.
Did u had to cut the Oem lugs to fit the spacer?!
no, the lugs stick out just a little bit but were not affected by the rim because the OEM rim on my truck is hollowed out where the lugs would normally touch. If that makes sense.
Do you have rubbing issues full turn to full turn?
No rubbing issues at all.
Any issues with the spacers so far ?
Thank you
I haven't had any issues with them. There isn't any difference in the drive to me. I pulled my boat at 70-80 and didn't notice any difference either. So far so good!
I posted my follow up video
How are they holding up
So far so good
Does this cause the tire to rub?
No
Blue loc tite never red. Bad mistake
Live and Learn...thanks.
Might help if you showed the actual after shots instead of talking and showing us how to change a tire.
I have some video in the follow up
