No one is disputing that but a lot of his striking is dependant on his athleticism and he isn’t looking in the best shape at heavyweight.
His boxing is his biggest weakness he doesn’t throw combinations at all and his boxing defense isn’t great jon is very hittable and we seen that in the Reyes fight he took some big shots from Reyes but yeah if he can beat aspinall he can beat anybody. Also jones is certainly not in his prime anymore. I think prime jones beats just about anybody

The HW division is just hype train after hype train. Im not so sure Tom is going to do what people think he's going to do. Im happy to be wrong but I've heard the same story about Ciryl and Sergei. I'll believe the hype when I see it. In that way I can see why the Alex fight is better. We know for a fact what Alex brings to the table. With Tom its a lot of people talking up a guy who they didn't even know existed last year. That's not to say Tom is a nobody, his name just wasn't in their mouth until he became the next hope. It was Ciryl, then Sergei and now its Tom. No matter what, you have to do Jones and Aspinal though, it's only right.

@@lupomena its different to grapple when in a full contact fight compared to just rolling on the mats though, and iirc Adesanya was piecing him up on the feet prior to the grappling exchanges so if he had taken damage, particularly to the head, that could impact his ability to grapple.
