That 13 second win against Aldo is possibly the worst/best thing to happen to Conor. The KO was obviously amazing but it also sent Conor’s ego into the stratosphere.

That’s one way to look at it. It all depends on how Conor views it in his head. As a Conor fan I can tell you that most of us took the Poirier KO loss differently than the Khabib submission loss bc he had been submitted before, crotch sniffing is a way to avoid a real fight by taking advantage of MMA rules (much of that grappling style would not work in a real street fight ).

Conor on his 145 campaign was phenomenal, 155 was short lived and his ceiling within the UFC. Not defending and choosing the Mayweather money fight that MMA fans didn't want, Khabib would never do.

@@MrAJM728 Conor has a big head and his face was sucked in. But his cut wasn't nearly as much as many others. Conor fought Nate at WW twice and couldn't even get to 170lbs. He weighed 168lbs both times that only 23lbs heavier than 145. Both Max and Dustin walk around in much heavier. Khabib walked around 194lbs. He would get "in shape" before starting camp at 188lbs. So even if you ignore the 194 and place him at 188, which is being a little generous, he's still cutting 33lbs to get to 155.
