You are the reason I wanted to run nitrous! Cant wait to season to begin so I can test this engine in my car. It has ac, heat, power steering, sound system, full exhaust system, 5 seats, fuel tank…it has a roll cage so maybe not a street car…

At 18:43 there was sparks under the car by front passenger tire I’d siphoned out the gas instead of running it out that should be old enough to not have a screen in the fill neck thanks for sharing bill it’s running great you definitely got it tuned in lol 😉
Bill you might want to check the core support bushings and body mount bushings there is a lot of movement between the body and frame. You can really notice it when doing your dyno pulls the gap between the headlight bezel and bumper opens up pretty good.

Ok, I'm by far any kind of racing expert but that spread from 400ish HP vs. 700ish Torque seens .. odd. I thought only Diesels did that. How was that obtained? I usually see them within 100 of eachother.
Malibu sounding good on the Dyno. Awesome shot coming across the bridge with the 64 pulling the Malibu. I know everyone appreciates the time and effort you put into your videos. It really sets your channel apart from others. That and your voice overs are great.
I’m glad someone else noticed this too. Absolutely do not believe that at all !!! Last pull they were saying under 700 horse and almost 1000 ft lbs ??? No way !!!
@@k-laus9435 the dyno was being ran on wheel speed calibration because the spark plug wire heat shielding was to large for our RPM lead. The HP was the main concern.. The torque is reading based on the converter and wheel speed which shows his converter is working very well. Yes, it shows a lot on the hit when the converter couples but it isn’t a fake number.
I freaking love dyno data and number crunching... a total engine nerd. Great content and the malibu sounds healthy pops! Can't with to see it on a prepped track soon...
Your level of testing, not just the engine, but the car as a whole, is why you guys are so good on race day. Hats off to you, Bill.your "calm tenacity" to get it right is impressive. The little things you sort out make a difference. With all your race cars in the family -it's a full time job, probably have to work overtime occasionally.... 😅

Obviously uncorrected. Engine made 540hp/520tq on dyno. So the torque is multiplied.
