Great video RMK and the GSA looks fab, would be interested to hear about the headlight guard and looking forward to the addition of the panniers. As you would expect me to say, you've made an excellent choice and the GSA compliments the K1600 in the garage. For your subscribers, I also took delivery of a new GSA at the end of September and I'm absolutely delighted with it; planning lots of trips for the future including a trip to Spain, hopefully riding along with a certain RMK. Thanks Andy and yes the GSA Uniracing colours are just perfect. The headlight guard I had BMW install as it required a bit of time to install and as I'm heading off soon for a two week holiday on the GSA it was just easier to get them to do it. Yes mate, we now have the same bikes, the same colour and the same great taste in Motorcycles so will definitely be joining you on the ride to Spain in the near future. Great bikes, my 2016 GSA is to date the best bike I've owned , my last was a 2015 GS 1200 but the GSA is just that bit better
boogynight I've got to say this bike is extremely impressive with its all round abilities, didn't think a bike could top my K1600 GT until I purchased little gem 👍🤗

Definitely the right choice. If you're gonna hit trails you may want to reconsider the tyres, but them anakees are great on the road and you can grind the pegs down no problem 😉
I think the only thing it's missing it a Blacky sticker maybe 😏

Thanks mate, yes spent 550 klm on her yesterday and loved every moment. Oh and the Blacky sticker, that was going to be a surprise when I returned from Victoria in 2 weeks and now you've ruined it - LOL...!!!

Thanks mate, yes very happy with the Uniracing ES paint scheme as well. Yep that was the decision, then I had to put the K16 for a service and walked out with the GSA, wife nearly killed me but hey, life is too short isnt it....:)

Hi RM K, fantastic bike, looks great in those colours. I do have a soft spot for this type of bike, but love my FJR! Having said that, I was considering buying in a year's time or so a BMW K1600 GTL, but have sort of been put off by Biker Paul's experiences & comments about it being top-heavy, and also reading about issues with the switchgear (water getting in I think). Very interested to hear your comments & experiences, as an owner of one of these beasts. Best wishes, Biker JPG.
Biker JPG Biker Paul is 100% right, the K1600 series is extremely top heavy and different to handle at slow speed to a point that under 50 kph (32 mph) cornering feels like the bike will topple over (have a look at my vlog ua-cam.com/video/nnmMvGxrDyg/v-deo.html at the 7:50 mark) although it doesn't it is unnerving feeling which I have got use to, therefore it doesn't worry me 😱
Biker JPG so I've kept the K16 for long haul rides when we're in the UK as she's perfectly suited to this environment., great fairing for cover, very comfortable seat and massive amounts of torque and just a shear pleasure to ride at the higher speeds. Me personally, I would purchase the GT Sport and stay away from the GTL as it's just too big for my liking, or do as I did and buy the GSA for the Sunday rides where I didn't want the bulk and keep the 16 for long touring rides 👍
