Really sorry if I'm uploading to much BMW content recently. I still have my 1290 KTM don't worry 🙂. But as a UA-camr trying to turn this channel into my living it's important for me to work with brands who work closely with me. Get the scoops , ride motorcycles fast , keep me noticed , invite me for events and so on so we can support each other as my only stream of money comes fro UA-cam add revenue. BMW is giving me everything I need , they support me all the way on my journey. So I return the respect by giving you guys everything you need to know about this motorcycle but still giving my honest opinion. Nobody pays me , I still say what I want and I do what I want 😛. So thank you all for understanding , liking and sharing my videos and maybe some other brands start supporting me as good as BMW does right now.
The 1300gs is most likely the biggest bike release of the year, no need to excuse yourself.
So most important question. I’m a new rider…. Should I got for the 1290 S or wait for the 1300 to hit our market?

2020 I started as a new rider on the S1000XR. (causing some weary looking people at the dealership)
I didn't have any experience and I didn't need any exams or driver training as my drivers licence is from 1985.
For me very important: as much (rider) aids as i could get and a good quickshifter. And yes, I did keep the rainmode on even in the dry.
today I have 87000 kms on the bike. No more rainmode necessary.
KTM fan here, but i never will be disappointed about the constant content of others brands. We love all the brands, we love the bikes Smokey, and the new 1300gs is gorgeous.
This was a great close up look at the bike. Completely changed my mind about the change in body style.
Love the bike but I think BMW should have put a cool rear light on the bike that would increase visibility. With more and more people on their phones while driving, a good rear light is more important than ever.
Surprisingly, I find the white version very beautiful, as it best conveys this dynamic line. This is immediately followed by the Trophy version. I didn't expect BMW to hit the mark with the new GS in terms of design. Thanks for the video.

Man you rock 😂😂😂😂get this bike to forest and rip off the dirt from soil 😂😂😂😂. I am just watching your BMW experience while lay down on sofa with broken wrist after accident on my k1600 when come back to Scotland from holiday in Italy. Bike written off wife don’t want any more bike in garage as she suffer too after trying be a bird and fly off rear seat and crash to highway barrier and our k1600 is complete destroy after 70mph crash 😢😢😢. Man I wish she will change her mind as I would love to put in my wee garage new r1300gs….Ride safe people watch for those cans crazy drivers.

i never liked or would have considered a GS until now, they really hit a home run, bought the weight down enough and the power up enough to make it a option now,

What was the feeling in difference of the bikes, between the prior GS and this new one. Did you notice a lot of difference by just putting the engine working and dragging the bike outside? How was the handling feeling?
Feels soooo much lighter but the gastank was close to empty. This feels so much more easy to handle. Also when riding it slow and techical in the shop on my short it feels really light and stable.

I took the S1000R out couple months ago , the video should be in my BMW playlist 😁. The M version is not in the current press fleet.

Yep soon...very soon! But BMW Germany has said nobody can ride on the road just yet. Some of us have to follow the policy 😅

bike looks really good in black and without panniers as well. id get those side pods done black as well, ill never be able to afford one though so its not a real issue ,

Very good presentation, head lights are not as impressive as 1250, but it's only my opinion.

I will get the green one ..prob late next year as ive only just bought the 1250 GS .and want to see if my aftermarket panniers will be able to transfer across..dont like the vario stuff.. went to see one at a local dealer and overall I'm impressed , it's surprisingly light when you stand it up off the side stand compared to the 1250 .. your thoughts on the engine coating ,? I also think there are parts that are little lacking..the back brake pedal looks very ahem cheap ..also the reservoirs for brake and clutch on the handlebars are a tad basic , but at least not plastic ..
They feel very light now because all gas tanks are empty at the dealers 😁
