Hi Ed, another good vlog 😊 We went to a Mongolian yurt 'glamping' in the Black mountains for my 50th. Apart from the weather, which was awesome, it was HELL!! The compost carsey was like a basebase bat in the face due to the hot weather, the fridge was a bucket in the ground and we had to cool our beer in the river, sorry, trickle, nearby. Plus we got munched by mozzies, one was filling up on my foot until l clobbered it. If that's luxury mate, give me slumming it any day ❤
Look. In the Uk we call crane flies daddy long legs. What's known in other parts of the world as a daddy long legs (spider) is called a cellar spider in the Uk. Ed was right to call them daddy long legs because that’s what we call them.
in norway we call them øyestikkere wich is eye puncters in english, but ive only heard them been called daddy long legs in english, ive never knew ppl call spiders daddy long legs xD that was funny :D
We call them dragon flies, and I’m only an hour away from Leeds… we also catch them with our hands because we aren’t massive vaginas… we call the “cellar spider” daddy longlegs.
@@danpreston564 yeah I know we also call the big blue ones dragon flies 😅 the English language is bonkers, different places have different names for all sorts. “bread cake” “barm” “cob” or a “roll” all the same thing

we did 'glamping' twice just after lockdown. A lovely 'yurt' near the village of Cheddar (close to Cheddar Ales Brewery!!!) and the following year near the Pembrokeshire coast. Great Fun. we did Laptop 'movie night' with beers and the firepit. country walks, excursions, our own solar panels (I also have my own solar powered battery for chrging).
glamping i never done , but camping i done since i was a young lad, and with the exseption of a few times i would say camping is much more enjoyable, i would highly recommend you try rock climbing (with an instructor\guide) that takes you high up then you sleep in a tennt on the side of the mountain, the view is stunning when u wake up, just do remeber to be hokked up to you're line so you dont roll off to you're death if you forget were you are in the morning(i did so 1st time terrible experince but learnt after that)
You're hilarious, watched a couple of your videos working in the most horrific warehouse job. Honestly burst out laughing multiple times, it's rare for me to ever genuinely laugh at work. Brillaint stuff, thanks 😅
where are ya did ya say? i see Skipton on the barge but it looks like Streeton id stop there for a week but not 200 per night lol looks nice its banging except the price
Ive done glamping many times, now im singel and free ,no way never again 😂😂😂 i dont miss it ,freedom. I love my showers ,bathroom ,real kitchen with no bugs or dirt or leeks and wind
You are actually supposed to have the Prosecco first as it is a palette cleanser so that you can enjoy the rest of the drink more. There is also vodka and passionfruit liqueur in the martini itself so drinking the Prosecco first doesn’t make it non-alcoholic. If you had poured the Prosecco into the martini then it would have diluted the taste, so you actually did it right haha
I have just discovered your Channel, I do love camping and I have 3 bell tents. Ive never experienced an issue with daddy long legs. I think the whole ready pitched tent glamping set up as extremely over priced. I do think the afternoon tea should have been covered up.

A colleague of mine did that in Snowdonia, didn't even last a night due to the tent being messy and ridden with spiders.
