  • The Mercedes-Benz has been a strong seller from 2010 until 2015! Now today its's know under the name GLC. Back in 2011, It was Mercedes-Benz' smallest and least expensive SUV that dove into the compact crossover luxury market last year and became an immediately desirable vehicle in the segment. The added option could make this one expensive! But give it a few kilometers and add a few years and down goes the price! It was powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with an output of 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. A seven-speed automatic transmission with Comfort, Sport, and Manual settings is standard. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive (known as 4Matic) is available and with it, it becomes an off-road warrior! Even if a few percentages of the buyers will bring it into the wild! It might not be a class-leading cabin space or fuel mileage king, but it sure is a robust and capable SUV!

    I had a v6 challenger, it was fast, now i have a glk350.
The glk350 on a stop when i floor it, kicks harder than the challenger, its a fast suv and i love it, but the challenger at the end its faster on 0-60, i did 6.08 sec on the challenger, my glk does a bit more but that awd kick makes me hit my body to the seat! I just love it!

I just raced one with my 2005 SC430. Wasn’t planning on racing but he floored it at the light. I reacted about .5-1 second later and floored it. I was pulling slightly and by 80 I was moving past him and by 100 I had a car length. That GLK was fast! I have a 4.3 V8 300hp, 325tq stock but I’m modified with exhaust, ecu tune, Coilovers and Rays wheels. Talked to the owner at the next light and told him his car was fast!

I have a 2014 GLK 350. Two wheel drive. I love this hot rod. 302 hp. I love this car. I have the tan interior, white, no sun roof. Now, here is the deal with Mercedes Benz. The mechanics must have come from Walmart. If there is no code, there is no problem. They do not know how to diagnose or look for the problem. When you go to Walmart, and buy something, they do not know how to count back your change. They just drop a handful of coins in your hand and tell you to have a nice day.
Like I said...no code, no problem. You will pay DEARLY for them to search. Everything is tied to everything program wise with Mercedes. Even though it may be a small program change or update, at your local dealer that is where it will stop. Especially if it’s out of Warrenty. Now it’s really your problem. They do not want to deal with it or even see you again. I have been told by two Mercedes Benz dealerships to take my business somewhere else. Even though you have taken your car to the dealer for this problem when it was still under Warrenty. It’s your problem now and forever. So, be prepared to open your wallet and pay, pay, pay.
I am going to keep this car for a while. Get my services done on time, by the book. Then I am going to the first Cadillac dealer I find and trade it off and let it be some one else’s problem, because there is no code saying that there IS a problem. Plausible deniability. No code, no problem. It must be in my mind.
My dream car has turned into a night mare. Like the exorcist, the service manager can rotate his head all the way around. Then roll his office chair clear across the showroom floor at 80 mph, and just stop! Geez, I must be dreaming’

I wouldn't be going to a Cadillac dealer if you're searching for reliability. Check out Lexus, Acura and Genesis.

I literally just got my 2013 350 4matic this afternoon due to my 2004 ML350' water pump breaking down and me not wanting to spend any money on it any more. I drove my GLK about 50 miles and i already love this car. Just like some people mentioned here, it is fast for what it is, and it is extremely quiet even on a less than perfect asphalt at 80 mph.

I have a 2015 3.5 V6 302HP. This vehicle moves. I drove at 125mph one time and I still had plenty of throttle left. I think I could go about the same as your one. I didn't even use sport mode. Acceleration is fast and the great part about my glk350 I don't feel the speed at high speed because it's so quiet. Handling is great even at 95+Mph. This naturally aspirated glk350 discontinued by MB after 2015 and they are making 4 cylinders turbo charger version but in my opinion this naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 302HP best engine Mercedes ever made. It's fast and quiet.

GLK will still have the classic un-aging look...( kind of like a Jeep) 10 years from now....by contrast..everyone will know at some point that you are driving an aging Nissan / jx35 of some sort.
The other thing is...look inside a 10 or even 20 year old well maintained Mercedes....it generally still looks like it’s brand new.....10 year old Nissan will likely look like a tired nag.
Finally, I don’t know the exact numbers but the GLK has been a great seller...so lots and lots of parts if need be...jx35...not so much.....I have a 2012 GLK 350 4matic....one of the best cars I have ever owned.

You can take it and have it tuned, but don't expect it to last long if you run it like a race car. It was not originally designed for that. Get yourself an E63 series if you're looking for that next level performance. The GLK350 is very impressive in stock format.
