I am 6 foot tall with a 6’ 5” wingspan, And have been searching for a PGA tour player with similar body types. This video has opened up a lot of fixes for my golf swing, thank you!

He generates a lot of power even when taking a sort backswing. I think it's how he let's off at the top and creates a whipping action. It is a swing I have been able to replicate but not with a lot of consistency yet. I can't really get a huge backswing anymore so learning this has really helped me. Tony will be able to play a long time with this very efficient swing.
Rolls it open on the way back and just follows the line back til about hip high and closes the face so fast through the ball its to fast for even the slo mo , trebles the swing speed with no effort .
Thats what you get for teaching yourself …..
Skipping a stone on water. Tonys very good at this.
Solid through impact and powerful in the slowed down
Been waching a lot of pro golf swings lately and a lot, not all, but A LOT don't have much hip turn, Tony is a prime example. It looks like he barely turns his hips with a big shoulder turn, regardless of the shorter back swing.
He doesnt need to. Arms so long creates all the power
@@Redsails8 true but not just him
This is not true
What a swing!
Tony seems to keep more weight on his heels than most players, from setup through the swing.
The right hand smash..
Crazy powerful dude. 205 ball speed with a full swing
Who know, can explain how to make the left hinge is bent down at impact, this bend at the top of down swing or bend at the impact only
Steep backswing leads to shallow transition….best way to swing imo
Tony FINAU swing is one plane ?
No. Very much two - or even three or more planes!
Starts with address Left arm/plane lever hangs straight down (plane 1 - arms). Club shaft angle/plane at a very flat angle (2nd plane)
Impact Plane is above address plane.
Then gets shaft upright in backswing then flattens on way down clears onto that wobbly front foot (but very nice, quiet trail foot/anchor)
Very much a Tour pro swing, tough to copy for an amateur, there a simpler actions easier to incorporate.
Over with. If he went 80% everyone would be finished.
could be a bit better
