- Queen Camilla has welcomed a new initiative aimed at giving guidance and supporting those who have fallen victim to domestic abuse.
Her Majesty hailed the importance of the project in, called Safe Space, and said she hoped abuse would one day be "obliterated". Report by Zaina Alibhai.

It is no longer a requirement and hasn't been for years. It is now a personal preference - or not - and no offence is taken. This visit is not a State Occasion but a personal choice to show support to one of Queen Camilla's charities.
Is this open also to male victims of domestic abuse ?
If was started by a woman for abused women. I'm sure that a man could do the same for abused men!
I don't know about this particular facility but others she has championed are.
If it is a safe space, rather than a shelter I would imagine it is.
@@Piping-Hot-Lava441 I did actually watch the video, but there was no commentary explaining what the place actually was. It didn’t sound like it offered accommodation. I am not British, so I am not familiar with what safe places are available for victims of family abuse.

Here the importance of the visit was to give visibility to a scourge that plagues not only Scottish society but the entire world, domestic violence! But of course, what does that matter? Well let's see. Camilla is staying at Balmoral which is in Aberdeen. This "Safe Space" charity is also in Aberdeen. So as it is in the same county cost of flying to get there would be zero. Because she would have travelled by road.
I think you need to research the words ‘Sovereign grant” and ‘Crown Estate’ to understand how the Royal Family is funded.

He does more than enough, how about you open your door to homeless people? Or we could simply do what the Charities commision suggested about 30 years ago now, and close down most of the independent homeless charities in London, and rename them all as one. Their total income for a year is enough to buy renovate and/or renew all homes and buildings in London that are derelict and house ALL of the homeless in the UK within two years. Of course everyone else in those charities pooh poohed the ideas, so we still have homeless people all over the UK!!

On Saturday 6th May 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London, The Archbishop of Canterbury Anointed and Crowned her in the Coronation Ceremony, in a simpler version of the ceremony he had just performed upon her husband His Majesty The King, she was then enthroned alongside her husband as Queen.
Charles had married her about 20 years earlier and the year before Queen Elizabeth II had declared her wish that Camilla be Queen consort (consort is a type not a title, as opposed to regnant like Elizabeth was), and when Charles took the throne, the palace began to refer to her as Queen, which they still do.
She is Her Majesty Queen Camilla. Nothing can change that, certainly any amount of flat-earther style denial.
The one you are drooling after - and Meghan is cloning - was never a Queen and even without Camilla on the scene still wouldn't have been Queen because she was divorced!
