Stop hating on Chocolatito. He's a warrior who never backs down even against bigger opponents. Can't say that about a lot of fighters people call "great". The record speaks for itself. If he reaches 49-0 with titles in at least 5 weight divisions he will without-a-doubt be a better fighter all-time than Floyd Mayweather. He really already is.

This is probably my favorite episode of Two Days. Love the Arguello connection and Gonzalez's humble nature saying he can never be greater. Love how he goes to Big Bear to train with Golovkin to overcome this great obstacle in the second half of his career. Anyone else think at some angles in the highlights Cuadras looks a lot like Canelo? Very good fight cant remember my score, hope they do it again like Kovalev and Ward

Just thought I'd mention this. Cuadras did not get robbed. Roman was the aggressor landing the cleaner punches although Romans face was badly swelled up that doesn't mean he lost the fight. Like Max said he rolls with the punches well as well as using his gloves to defend punches

Gonzalez went through war, was prepared to die, and even cried after the fight just to make Arguello proud and everybody's saying "he lost", "Cuadras got robbed" while Cuadras goes clowning around not trying to earn REAL mexican stamina to prepare for this fight.
Did they do vada testing for this fight? the pimples on Cuadras's back looked very suspicious

That's true!..but i was writing about the quality of the realization of the video and in my opinion this is the best one made by hbo so far, they're making progress.
For the emotional side i would pick Ruslan, that moment when he embraced and yelled to his mom:"I'm the champion's of the world!!I don't believe it!!"was soo deep.

Chocolatito is an example for Boxing, pure techniques, moving on up, never backdown or running away to avoid hits. The fact is that there is no one that will go Toe to Toe with Roman, you will be dismantle if you choose to stand your ground, you can run all you want but you cannot hide. Roman is a lil pit bull after your ass.

this was a good fight that showed chocolatito heart he won this fight he out landed Carlos yes his face was busted up but he moved up in weight and is fighting a bigger power puncher

always known about chocolatito but was never interested in watching the lower weight classes fight. after watching this, I'm officially a fan and for sure will be tuning into his fights. this little guy is putting the smaller weight classes on the map.

man that was the toughest fight of chocolatito i've ever watched. i thought cuadras will win. but, its a close fight anyway. either one of them deserves to win that day. its all in the hands of the judges. great fight. i can't wait to see roman gonzales vs donny nietes. i hope this fight will happen

This is the fight that left Chocolito shot. When I seen this fight I realized Chocolito didn't belong in this weight class and just should've went back to 108lbs. I know his handlers had to see it, but Chocolito had cleared out the 108 division and HBO wasn't going to pay for the fights if he didn't come up.

Well said GEORGE HAVENHAND .. Chocolatito is one of the most complete fighters in a long time . The only other fighter with better skills I can think of is Rigondeoux. But to know that you have to be honest and not be a race cheerleader . IF CHOCOLATITO WAS MEXICAN HE WOULD BE PRAISED NON STOP .
EvenThough I slightly disagree with the decision, I think Gonzalez handled himself well in that division which is not easy to do. However, Gallito Estrada beats him even with a broken hand. Gonzalez won't fight him. Gonzalez needs to pick his opponents because he is on the decline which is nothing to be ashamed of because he has had an entertaining/good career so far.

Arguello..what a great fighter he was n Roman has been better..I know hes had a couple of lets say, close decisions and HBOhype but this guy is definitely in the top 5 P4P...Technically hes always had a dodgy defence but unlike rigo and meweather he's great to watch..btw I thought a draw would have been right in the Cuadras bout though I can see why he got it..needs a rematch..

When I first saw chocolatito fight on hbo he looked way better than how he looked in this fight and I saw him fight live once at the garden on the ggg Lemieux undercard he looked great there too and even then the guys from Nicaragua sitting next to me were telling me he is no where as good as he was when he was younger, they say guys in the lower weight classes get old in the ring sooner than heavier weights. He's so good offensively that his offense is pretty much his defense but he's probably lost a little speed and moving up so many weights explains why he looked like this in this fight

Miguel Rodriguez Roman has actual been facing top competition in his weight classes. The rest will come soon. Please don't compare him to Canelo lol. Just because you're not familiar with the top fighters in his weight class does not mean he isn't pursuing big fights. Cuadras rematch will come and so will the Inoue fight.

I love Chocolatito. But I think he's close to being done. Face doesn't hold up well, he swells and gets hit more. Plus he doesn't have enough punching power in higher divisions. Estrada rematch or Inoue might just throw him off that P4P #1 spot. Wish Chocolatito had more discipline to keep his body below flyweight.
