The blueprint to beating Lara was simple since they won a equal number of rounds as Lara did, but Canelo was fatigued, and that was Canelo's fault. The trainers can only do so much to improve stamina.

This episode was a little underwhelming. The 2 Days episodes I've enjoyed most were the ones where there was some kind of hiccup or adversity facing one of the fighters (i.e. Mikey Garcia's vomiting around the time of the weigh-in, GGG's flu prior to his fight with Gabe Rosado). I think those ones actualize the show's slogan: "2 days before a fight, anything can happen." In this case, nothing really happened; nothing unexpected or exciting, anyway.

If Canelo was a junior middleweight, than OK. But he's not anymore. He claims the titles at middleweight, meaning if he is the warrior that Oscar says he is, he has to take on GGG. If he wins, he will without a doubt become a superstar (which he already is, but a win over GGG would catapult him to the top of the P4P rankings and end all the doubt).
If he loses, than so be it. He is very young and can make a comeback. Instead though, I believe Canelo will wait for GGG to get old (Golovkin is already past his prime as he turns 34 in April) before he fights him.

He had lo loose 50 lbs of fat in less than 2 months for a fighter that's been inactive for at least 16 months, anyone that knows boxing knows that this version of Kirkland wasn't at 100 percent at all, but due to today's boxing business and politics the cash cow has to look good and he did.

Canelo is such a likable guy man. Always been super mature and shown he's wise beyond his years. He achieved success at such a young age and yet he's never settled and gets better every single time he's in the ring. People are writing him off against Cotto, but the dude is smart and his conditioning (which has always made him suspect) has been exceptional in his last couple bouts. I've got him by late stoppage or UD next month. Blessings to this young man on a continuing career full of successes!
