I wore it today around the house as well and it's just so comfortable and feels proper. Plus I don't have to worry about doing my hair lol. I found the most beautiful lace fabric at Hobby Lobby but I’m not sure if there was too much going on to wear it but it called my name because of the beautiful little flowers on it. Next time I stop by, I’m hoping it’s there. I’ll grab two yards of it for safe measure.

I am a pagan who does several types of veiling. Chapel is by far the prettiest. I generally have to wear solid fabric for sun protection but how chapel veils layer is gorgeous!
@I'd rather be in Hobbiton. superstition of the celts and Greek. The veil is supposed to protect your purity and also conceal your power. Also sun protection. My grandma died of melanoma due to sun exposure on her scalp

I tried the scallop thing - that is hard to do -I am just going to add trims I purchase - and most fabric does not come scalloped at all. Hard to find.

I'm curious if pagan veils have similar styles.

Each were long on the sides and short from the front of your head to the back especially the one at the beginning of this video. You said that the instructions would be in video 1 you made one that was a large triangle not the short on top and long on the sides. I am not talking about the one that your model was wearing it’s the one that you wore. I would like to see the tutorial where you are measuring and sewing it.

Idealizing or requiring women to veil in Church is similar to the extremist Islamist requirement for women to wear hijab in public. To reason out it's for modesty, why are only women required to be modest? If so, men should also be modest and wear the veil in Church.

Try putting a bit of starch on the lace. That might help.
I would like to make a veil that is longer, one that wraps around my shoulders mid back.
