    • @yojoeski

      I’ve heard the hardest recorded hit was Jerry Nadeau at Richmond in 2003. It was a perfectly flush hit on the driver’s side that was apparently over 100gs. I want to say I read it was 105g but I’m not sure of the exact number. Kyle Petty and Dale Jr both took hits around the same timeframe that were high in gs. Kyle at Dover and Jr at California.

    You can see the fluid at 3:20, Sadler was tagged from behind and likely slid through it and into nearly a 45 degree angle head on and subsequently the right rear made a second hit off the same wall. Busch's onboard shows Sadler spinning through the air. The wreck reminds me of Preece's accident recently at Kansas where all four tires came off the ground. Back then not all tracks had the safest layouts. Now Pocono is different and this collision can't really happen anymore. Safety has come a long way in all aspects.

      This crash was so bad that in the early 90s they would be using a push broom to clean up the Sadler jigsaw puzzle off the infield grass. I know this is old footage, but... It pisses me off when the broadcast crew says, “And the medical crews are already ‘right there’ (in reference to Sadler)”, when ONLY the track “safety workers” were there! And, this was more than 4 minutes AFTER the RED flag (not even the caution). For people who know what really goes on, this is ridiculous. And...it still happens more than it should!

    How many times did Jimmie Johnson wreck Kurt Busch. This is like the 7th one I've seen on youtube. Once Kurt gets into Jimmie at Richmond night race and Jimmie goes into rage mode to get Kurt back. What am I missing here? It's like, dude. Jimmie. You might be Seven time, as in Seven times wrecking Kurt Busch. What's the problem?

  • @jimgray3346

    Like Montoya at Daytona; an epic crash with no footage. Get your shit together, NASCAR. Every car needs front and rear cams, plus drone footage everywhere. It's 100% worth it.

    3:48: why the hell didn't this camera focus on the 19 instead of the 2 after it wrecked?

    • @nascage
      @nascage 3 роки тому +9

      Probably because Sadler's wreck came outta nowhere while the cameraman was focused on Busch. You have to take into account the replay you're watching is in slow motion, and human reactions when filming aren't always instantaneous, especially if you don't notice anything outside the focal point. Even if the cameraman panned to the right after Sadler's impact, he likely would've missed the trajectory of his car after impact and could only catch the aftermath.

      As a camera operator your focused through the view finder or an lcd screen showing what the camera sees so you have limited field of view. Camera operator probably didnt see it because he was focused on kurt. Now why the other 5 or 6 cameras didnt catch the wreck ill never know.

    Jimmie Johnson is such a little crybaby. I remember when he was almost in tears at Daytona when Harvick wrecked him and he was saying Harvick should be fired and had no business being in Nascar. Well Jimmie I know for a fact that you caused way more wrecks in your career than Harvick did. Crybaby was always crying.

      @PaddyLCak3s 3 роки тому +3

      That's still something we don't know 100% about since ESPN and every other broadcasting service that had a camera failed to catch. The generally accepted answer is that the car did not go upside down, but did lift off the ground

    • @ryancurley2351
      @ryancurley2351 3 роки тому +4

      I was talking to somebody who was at the race itself, he claimed that he ran over some fluid at the track and picked up speed in the grass, much like Steve Park in 2002, then he hit the wall at full force and got airborne and spun in the air and the nose of the car hit the ground first which is why the engine came out, then it almost rolled-over, but it didn’t and it came down on all fours.

    Okay so this what i think of what happened to Elliot Sadler' big crash so Aj got into the back of Sadler that got him lose then spins to the guardrail and hits the guardrail extremely hard once he hit it he get some big air kinda did a Miguel Paludo big crash in Daytona 2012 but did one rotation alwhile in the air than part of his front fender lands first witch lands very hard once he lands on all tires and than the car bounces one time when he landed then slides to a stop on the track . so thats what i think happened
