Hello! Great question - no the Nucleus 7 battery components are not compatible with the Nucleus 8 Sound Processor. Since the Nucleus 8 Sound Processor was designed to be smaller and lighter than the previous model the battery sizes were also changed to accommodate.

If you see the blinking orange light while the Battery is on the Charger, it can indicate the Sound Processor is searching for the connection to the Implant, it can also indicate a fault. If you are seeing the blinking orange light while the Battery is charging, it can indicate a fault with either the Battery, the Charger, or the power source. Is the N7 disposable battery holder compatible with the N8?

Do the y charger usb does it repalce the cord or does it mean it’ll just need to attach the Y charger?
