I feel like there's a good chance of it being intentional. I mean, it's a beta test, and by making one character more powerful, a large part of the community is going to use that character. Even if it isn't intentional, it's a good thing all three release characters have been.extensively tested.

i had a shiny Soul of the District yesterday, that was hillarious... it didnt trigger that often since i also had a 500dmg Atalatl, which often killed people before the Soul could go off, but when it did, ooooh boy
There was one run where I wound up with double diamond matchbox. Found a gold shipment with forja the next day and the first one was already diamond. That was a ridiculous run
I played this build and I got countred by DA BOULDER with 97% critical chance and the skill that advances the weapon for every enemy item use ~ it was insane!! love to see kripp plays that build finally, upvote if you wanna see it too!
There is currently a bug that makes Fiercy Weights not always charge on Bushel. I always run this deck and it started acting up on me (not always) in the past few days. This setup is unbeatable btw with a few of the right scaling skills and heal on using a tool.
I watched some other streamers of the game give their take on the current meta and they basically all said pyg was dead last. My mouth was on the floor, Pyg is insane right now.
i smashed a lot of similar builds on my way up to 10 wins with a good ol' claw build. shield bash skill ensures it but really you want the shield enchant on your highest shield item to 1-tap most stuff
I feel like there needs to be diminishing returns on things like slows or freezes and even haste and charge items. End game builds are just a spam fest of ridiculous multipliers.
Nah, i played yesterday 3-4 builds that can lock you before you start to play since you have a slow start, there is a lot of counterplay to that but to be fair that board generally does well against everything compared to the niche stuff that can beat you.

People need to remove the notion from their head that you are even INTENDED to consistently get 10 wins. I have no idea why people think this it's not like the game implies it at all. This game is like battle royales where top players will consistently top, but the inherently high RNG will never allow someone to go on 10 win streaks
I had same build with fire also on the lighter and I got crushed by armor stacking Vanessa with poison, 2 times in a row. Sadly this build is not invincibile at all.
Pyg has a lot of bad starter items. I guess that's fair considering how many ways pyg has to go infinite now though. Including going infinite start of combat with the start of combat shield skill.
A well setup Dam + poison is the ONLY counter to this. Got a setup like that with instant start, applying 280 poison and charging Dam, then everything gets destroyed and you just watch them die slowly.
Why is it that you sometimes lose 2 gold when u enter a merchant or something else and sometimes you dont lose gold ? Also i played a game with matchbox with shield enchantment, bushel, marbles and model ship with cooldowns on them on 3 seconds. Was just hilarious how much and how fast everything was doing. I feel like this meta has a few outliers in power like barrel, turtle shell, matchbox, regal blade, and bushel, but it also has incredible potential if they get hit with the nerf stick.
@@ImJustBagI don't see why regal blade is an issue. Gold is much more scarce now with the increased reroll costs and shop bonuses making you keep a full inventory. If you scale regal blade early you most likely will be poor and miss a lot of income buffs

Yeah, I've gotten quite a few duplicates that way. They probably forgot to have it check what items you have.
I think items should only charge for half when slowed. That would make slow not so useless, and give some counterplay to this full charge nonsense
if items that are slowed should half charge, should frozen items decrease their cooldown when hasted?
Kripp not realizing that marbles now charges from any adjacent item (rather than just smalls) was slowly killing me through this video.

I've beaten this build with insta haste Comp Core Dooley and Belleister. Needed the insta haste (Monster skill) to get around Fort.

Fort is where it's at. Interfering with opponents infinites while contributing to yours is just too good. Not to mention the great property skills.

You're pretty likely to see that on day 1 and day 2, starts Silver, ends up Diamond 👍
