Awesome content, essentially!
Sounds about right. I use my own vehicle: Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I started with less, but in my first year and a half I spent $15 grand in supplies, advertising, uniforms. Luckily I recouped a lot of that on taxes. That is def a thing I would recommend getting if you don't have one is A: a reputable CPA, and B: a business attorney, for any liabilities, or legal help on warranties, etc.
Keep it up brother. You provide great info and I always look forward to hearing what you have to say.
Appreciate you watching! Hoping to either go live or upload at least 2 videos this week for you all!
Great video man you really making think twice about getting my own business.
Thanks man wasn't that long of a video . I starting to look into this industry from zero no knowledge what so ever. It seems very interesting 👍🏻
Appreciate it!! I try to keep them under 30 minutes if possible and to keep myself in topic because there’s so much I could talk about when it comes to the business ins and outs I could go for hours lol! Instead I figured let’s just create more videos and stay on topic if possible
Just subscribed. Great video man, I'm starting a pest control business and this was very helpful. Thank you; keep doing it 💪

@@GriffinThomasMFCEO gonna drive up there so they can put in my rig
They don’t take long either! Mine took like an hour maybe?

Loving your content on starting a pest control business. Would it be possible to get get your cost breakdown in a spreadsheet?
I plan on doing a video before long of a quickbooks breakdown!
I used to work for a Pest control company for about 3 years but stopped in 2020.
Now 2023 I want to get my license and start on my own.
How can I get my lo cedes if I haven’t worked for pest control company in 3 years
I would call the department of agriculture to confirm whether you have a valid license still. Otherwise unfortunately you may have to go back through the loopholes of becoming certified first. They would be able to give clear guidance
Thank you for this video man. You got me seriously thinking about starting something up out here in CA. Are you interested in putting together some kind of franchise packet?
Honestly I’m not, I’m just doing this to document my journey and give people that are visual learners like myself a channel where hopefully they can find most of the information they need
@@GriffinThomasMFCEO Cool. Is it a requirement in TX that you work a certain number of years as an Applicator before you can become an Operator?
In Texas once you pass your technician exam you have to wait a year as a technician before you can take exams to become certified
I just started a new company about 2 months ago in NJ... having a hard time getting customers,,, can you describe more about your advertising with Google.? How , what you listed and daily budget..?
I’ll go over this the best I can in the next Q&A later this week for you! Thanks for the question!
Why isn't your channel named after your business?
I have a separate channel for my pest control business. This channel is me documenting my entrepreneurial journey
You paid 100 bucks for 100 door hangers? Did you mispeak, or did you really pay 1 dollar per door hanger?
Must’ve misspoke, if so what was meant was I only passed out about 100 of them. I still have a couple of stacks of the same door hangers 3 years later
@GriffinThomasMFCEO so 1 sale out of 100 flyers... that's what I expect the turnaround to be
@shephardofdeath7172 correct
How do you get licensed to start a business in Texas?
Easiest way is to work for another pest control company for two years, get certified and launch your own business from there. That’s the summed up version!
I don’t think essentially means how you always use it.
Good thing we’re here to learn business and get rich instead of pointless English courses
@@GriffinThomasMFCEO In business, my friend, people judge you on how you look, what you say and how you say it. Want to be more professional, start with some easy basics, essentially ; )
Not the people I do business with my guy, this isn’t the 1940s. Normal people are taking the economy back, essentially.
@@GriffinThomasMFCEO lol ok young man, you got everything figured out, its very clear. You'll go far with that attitude, good luck
I’ll keep pushing for sure unlike some baseless English jockeys online that can’t afford to pay attention to the substance at hand. Started from zero and already here. Where are you?
