I really like this how-to better than all of the others. I would like to add that if you are having trouble with getting the wire where it belongs, a larger crochet hook was the key to our problems.
Awesome video. The springs were difficult to re-attach with one person and the electronics made removing the front panels a little fiddly but I eventually got there thanks to this video on our Bosch Maxx 900 wfl 1880.

Thanks for the video - it really helped. I just changed the door seal on a Balay washing machine. I didn't take the counter-weight off but the seal seems to have fitted just fine. It took about 30 minutes. Just a note to Balay owners, the door latch does not unscrew, you simply have to manoeuvre the front panel carefully to side of the right hand side of the machine making sure not to pull on the electric door latch wiring loom.

Good video with clear instruction. I probably have a newer machine than the video, I had a vent pipe and the lock that just requires the electrical connector to be disconnected. For the people in Oz I Purchased my seal from Mr Appliance in NSW, next day delivery to Melbourne, at $50
Great video. Worked well for my Bosch maxx 900 machine, however there were no screws in the door latch it was riveted in place so I had to fumble about with the safety lock wires still attached when I took the front fascia/door panel off. Also had a tangle of wires behind the top panel not mentioned here, which made it hard to fold out of the way - I just cut the cable tires to give it a little slack. Lastly I found no need to remove the cement counter weight, it was ready enough to change the seal & spring without that step.
Great video, thank you very much. My Bosch Axxis was leaking and I found a hole in the door seal and this probably saved me hundreds of dollars compared to calling a repair tech. Some of my washer guts were a little different but easy enough to figure out. I left my counterweight on and had a helper hold the top of the spring as I pulled it down and around the inside of the gasket, which probably saved quite a bit of time.
Thanks, thanks, thanks! I admit I didn't get the door seal from your site (apparently you don't have the part for my machine) but your tutorial was really helpful! It did take me "a bit" more than 12 minutes to do it though...

Good video. Very helpful for this first timer. Please note that if you have the 300 series Bosch dryer, the screws to remove the front panel are not inside the kick plate as their is no kick plate. They are on the bottom of the machine so you will have to tilt the machine against the wall or something to remove them. Best done before you remove the timer panel. Then when you get inside the 300 series, there is no ratchet on the spring loaded wire. Its the same as the outside one. Also, you will need more ratchet fittings for the counter weight as it has different style nuts w/ bolts. Also, when removing the door you will need to unplug the door latch from the inside rather than removing screws on the outside of the panel. Other than that everything is the same, lolololololol.
thank you my friend the clipper was not easy to install, the new ones are so strong and hard to make them open😂 it took me some time but it was ok, thank you
I'm really pleased the video was helpful to you. Could you do me a favour and take part in a poll I've made about the lifespan of appliances? You just need to tick one of two boxes. Hello, great video. I have a different type Boche washer with 4 plastic clips holding the front facia panel on. As well as screws already off. The plastic white clips are super tight on and looks to me they rotate to get off. I don't want to force them off seems like they will break. Any advice to get them off? Cheers
how-2-repair.com Figured it out those plastic clips on the facia you just have to pull up on the panel and its free. Just have to unclip the soap box out of the way. Anyway now my main question is on my model #WFVC6450UC /22 has BOLT in concrete weights. 2 CC weights on each side of the front of the drum, and one CC weight on the top. What is the torque setting when bolting them back on? I don't want to break/crack the CC weights from bolting them down too tight. As well as I do not want them too loose over time as these machines have a great deal of vibration constantly. I have them snug for now and was thinking of using blue locktight. Cant find any info anywhere about these bolts! Cheers,
