Undone all screws, but door seem's really secured to back. Bottom of door is 30 degrees out, but top of door is seems really secured. Scared to pull any more. Have I missed any screws anywhere. What should I do ?
Excellent tutorial , well explained and easy to understand for a novice like me. before watching i thought i was going to change the seal without removing the front panel ,If i had successfully accomplished this task i would probably have qualified for a job as a gynaecologist. Many thanks
fantastic video thank you so much. Great step by step instructions. Soooo much better than other videos I watched. I successfully changed my door seal! I'm a 61 year old woman.
Sept 2024 and just replaced the door seal on our 2007 Bosch Maxx using this video. Hopefully we’ll get another year out of it maybe. (Ie It was leaking but now fixed).. Thanks for explaining the steps. Easy as..
Thanks so much. This video was fantastically useful and the job would have been far harder without it. Just to note to others that rewiring the door locking mechanism is not shown so it is necessary to go back to the start and work through those instructions in reverse. Thanks so much. This video was hugely appreciated.
Great video, thanks for making it. Helped me fix my 15+ year old washing machine, pretty much good as new now. Can tell you really know your trade, other videos I watched didn’t even come close to the level of precision and quality of instruction you show here. All the best mate.
You forgot to reconnect the door switch, but apart from that, an excellent video. Replaced ours in an hour. The hardest part is putting the seal springs back on. Thank you.
I followed your instructions and the process worked brilliantly for me. I did remember to refit the door lock plug before refitting the front cover. I had a lot of trouble though getting the top screw near the detergent dispenser out. You made it look so easy! My old gasket and the one you removed were identical. However my new gasket was the same except the seal line was in the 10 o’clock position, not 12:00 o’clock like you showed. Thanks for you video, I couldn’t have changed the gasket without it.
This is the best video on replacing the door seal on this model. One important point: disconnect the mains power before doing anything! I’ll change my door seal tomorrow morning! Thank you!
@@ApplianceFault I got the job done, but the front clamp spring was too strong for me! I didn’t have a hook so I threaded a guitar string through the spring loop. That worked! Thanks for your help.
Wow, thanks to this video I was able to swap the seal and I feel really grateful and also really proud of myself. ***Remember to reconnect the door lock wire before reinstalling the front panel***
Thanks for making this video, replacing the seal is more involved than what you would think by looking at the spare part!!! I actually own a pick like the one you used so with my battery drill and Philips driver I will be OK for tools.
Thanks for this very clear and helpful video. I had not done this before, and followed your step by step guide easily and successfully. I even managed to refit the door lock at the right time!
LEGEND, made it much easier than me figuring it out as i went, love repairing things instead of putting them in landfill/tip!, picked up one of these for 20$ with a torn seal, replaced and she's like new!
If you're struggling with reattaching the spring tensioners, use your foot as leverage. I would avoid using the hook pick in case it punctures the new seal. Thanks for the video.
You haven`t refitted the door lock wiring to the door lock when reassembling. Don`t forget this or you will have to remove the front cover again. Otherwise this is a good info video , very easy to follow.
I must of cut that part out by accident and didn't notice. Thank you for letting me know. The door lock can be connected before the front of the seal goes back on.
Thank you so much, I thought this was going to be a case of pull the old out and shove the new in. You're video showed that there was so much more to it and was a massive help with the job. Couldn't have done it with out you.
Thank you for the video that was a indeed a great help. I now know how to fit a door seal. Also I now know what the inside of our washing machine looks like! 😁👍
Sorry. 2:52 you said disconnect the door lock and unclip wiring harness but did you show us how to connect it back towards the end of this video? Thanks
Glad you liked the video. Sometimes they can get stuck. It’s usually the 2 tabs on the left side of the panel that get stuck. I usually stick a wide flathead screwdriver into the tab and twist it to push the panel to the right

2023 and your tutorial is still useful. The screw drive type of the screws on mine were torx and not phillips.

Great video, my model had two more screws at the bottom but I figured that out easily. I had it replaced in less than an hour. Thanks
Two extra on mine too - Maxx6. Nearly bent the fixings before realising! 😅
Wow, thanks to this video I was able to swap the seal and I feel really grateful and also really proud of myself.
***Remember to reconnect the door lock wire before reinstalling the front panel***
Thanks for the video! It helped heaps. Don’t forget about refitting the door lock.
excellent guide and very well filmed.
you forgot to reattach the door lock electrics but that's the only issue with it.
Thank you. I cut the door lock part out and only realised after uploaded the video.
Great tutorial, really appreciate it. Watch out for the folded lip on the front panel because it's finger slicing sharp!
Thanks for making this video, replacing the seal is more involved than what you would think by looking at the spare part!!! I actually own a pick like the one you used so with my battery drill and Philips driver I will be OK for tools.
Great vid. Very very helpful. A man after my own heart wearing the blue gloves. I wear them for all DIY jobs and when I’m working as an ambo. Cheers

Where can I buy and what is the manufacturer code for the seal?
The door seal part number in the video is 00361127. If you google the part number you should find it in your region.
