very interesting observation regarding the glottals and palatals. You are correct regarding that twang! He is actually singing in Hajong language very close to Bengali and these are mostly alphasyllabaric languages, therefore, they are too "liquidy" languages, which allows people to pronounce words the way they want. If u want to talk about the collective culture of present Bangladesh its dominant ideology is not very cultured ..almost lacks any culture except for the culture of cancelling art forms including music ....they vandalised the last remaining memory of Ustad Alauddin Khan and have put Bauls behind bars by branding them as unislamic and it's all about onubhuti these days 😑😑😑

In Bangladesh, 21 February is the anniversary of the day when the people of Bangladesh (then East Pakistan) sacrifice their lived for recognition for the Bangla language. Bangladesh is the only country in the entire world who fought for their language. Later on UNESCO declared 21 February as the International mother's language day.
