- I am from Germany, born and raised. A couple of years ago I relocated to Australia and been living there ever since.
Can you understand Urdu and Hindi?
- I sadly can’t understand both languages fully, neither can I speak them. However I am able to understand a few words and certain phrases.
Why haven’t you reacted to my recommendation yet?
- Every day I receive countless recommendations from you guys, which I am grateful for. I am trying to read all the comments but it does happen that I miss some out. The main factor is probably my working schedule which doesn’t allow me to film videos daily. Most weeks I can only find a couple of hours in the afternoon to film 2-3 videos. Of course I’d love to film more and film all of your recommendations, however I’m trying to stick with 1 or 2 uploaded videos a week. Quality over quantity.

This is not actually Bangla Language..It's "Hajong" which is a language used by an indigenous group of people living in Bangladesh. February is the International Mother Language day month..so, the coke studio paid respect to the multi-cultural languages that are present in Bangladesh. Loved the video and can't wait for the next ones.

1st part is hajong language which an Indo-Aryan language related to bangla with a Tibeto-Burman language substratum. Actually Bangladesh is a melting pot of Indo-Aryan, Tibeto-Burman, Austro-Asiatic language group.

On another note, your pronunciation was just on target. It is no wrong if you read Nasek with German "S" pronunciation. However, it is better to read like "Naßek"

Coke Studio Bangla just surpassed all my expectations. One of the musicians is actually my distant uncle but I didn't know about it. So, kinda had a mini heart attack when I saw playing the saxophone in a colorful jacket. Overall, it is a fantastic production. Hats off to Coke Studio Bangla team for their efforts.
Bangla is huge, soooo huge... There is too much more for you to explore! I invite you to go through more of your songs! You can categorize them primarily in three groups, Classic Bangla, Modern, Band Music. I believe you will be amazed!

Hi Jola thanks for making this reaction video, just a bit correction.. the first singer Animes Roy sang the song in Hajong but the 2nd singer Pantho Kanai sang another song which is in Bengali - "Dol Dol Duluni". It's a mix up of two different song "Nasek Nasek" and "Dol Dol Duluni" used two languages, Hajong and Bangla.

Just to let you know the first language in the start and in the end is an indigenous tribal language called Hajong. Hajongs are an endogenous tribe of central Bangladesh.....in the middle they sing in Bangla... so the second language was Bangla. Bangladesh is extremely diverse from top to bottom and that is why all Bangladeshis don’t look the same because we come in all shapes, sizes, skin tones, religions, regional language & accents but one thing that unites us all is our language and nationality.

this song is a misture of two languages. First one is hajong. And second one is Bengali. As 99 percent people of Bangladesh are the bengali ethnic group ,it is our first language, And Hajong is a language of a tribal group of our country. 21st Fabruary is the International Mother Language Day, we sacrificed our lives in 1952 for our language and later in 1999 UNESCO recongnised it and its now celebrated all over the world.
