- 1987 Garner vs Charlotte Harding Highlights. "Time of Your Life" video. Championship game. NC State Champions
AB 47 Td's National Record. Coach Hal Stewart giving the pep talk - Спорт
This video never gets old!!!!
Just watched it again, June 2, 2019. Almost 32 years later and it's still awesome. Fun times of youth. Great great memories
something cool about a town of 12,000 bringing nearly 7,000 to a game 3 hours away. That's Garner!!!
That is Coach Hal Stewart and he was a HECK of a coach!!! Garner truly does miss him!!!
Hal Stewart was a hell of a motivator
This video is so AWESOME!!! I was there and will NEVER forget that night in Charlotte. GO TROJANS!!!
when i watch that man speak to his team its make me over flow with joy...he makes me want to get back in the pads..GO SCOTS!!! respect to Garner High School
Jeff Gravley and I shot the game and I had the pleasure of editing this video for WRAL-TV. I can't hear this song without hearing Hal Stewart's pregame and halftime speeches.
#43 had a 60 yard TD 1st play of the game.... Finished with with new state rushing record, 4TDs and a 40 to 21 butt wooping on dem boys from the queen city.
His name is Anthony barbour
1:44-46 was one of the most epic things I have ever seen in my years of HS ball. This was fun to watch, wish I could have seen this era in person..
i remember this like it was yesterday, Trojan For Life
Wowww motivation for this year coming up i have to step up and lead my team back to that championship game
I'd run through a brick wall for that man. In a lot of ways, I did.
I don't know who that coach is but damn he is a good motivator.
Hal Stewart was the coach. Pull up the game before that to go to state. Northern Durham vs. Garner 1987. Football Friday. We had to play them to go to Charlotte
My dad was there
What's the record the coach was speaking of at halftime?
159-47-1 in 17 seasons, won +10 games 12 times, 11 conference titles, Wake County and NCHSAA Coach of the Year; 1988 NCHSAA 4A runner-up; legendary for motivation and historic halftime speeches; served as Garner Athletic Director
Adam Williams The running back for Garner, Anthony Barbour, broke the national high school touchdown record for that time. I believe it was held by either Earl Campbell or Billy Sims at the time until Anthony broke it.
