I like the 'part A' thing. It clearly shows that this is still an episode in a series, but not part of the 'normal' section. It also makes me think of like a 'B side' in Celeste for example.
The voice actor for Connor and the blue hair smex bot are married in real life and were dating during the game. They even played the game ! on their gaming channel.
There are some really big branching consequences towards the later stages of the game and you're definitely right. Having to basically restart over and over again makes it a chore, just to see other cutscenes. Unless you want to 100% the game, you're really better off to react to videos of alternate paths "Fugitive" itself can go like 20 different ways already and it has ripple effects for the next Connor chapter and in the public opinion stat EDIT: nvm. Just got to the outro screen lol
If you like the detective aspect -- I think you'd like LA Noir. Pure detective game located in LA in 1940s, really high budget and also made by a great studio who made GTA (Rockstar Games).
Great approach to exploring other options, very happy you did it this way, as I was worried you'd just jump through chapters randomly that would make it more a collection of alternative scenes.
Also don't miss out on the extras, there are some interesting videos & you can also learm more about every single character by buying them in the extras as well
There was no need to watch online. I know you weren't aware, but i don't think you were locked out of going to the house. I think you still had the cutters, but even if you didn't, there were some on the generator. You just had to check that inside gate first. That's what i did my first playthrough and Ralph made it super stressful. Especially the next morning.
@@LukaelPlays yea I don't think it gives you the option to pick them up until you actually try to get through that parking lot fence. It gives you an out from stealing.
Regarding Wire cutters, you can just find them in the parking lot adjacent to the abandoned house on top of a generator. I would strongly advise replaying this chapter to stay in the house as it opens up a cool part in the following chapter when Conner turns up.
I see they do make it difficult to explore all the possible outcomes. I guess they do have to lock you into a certain path though, it seems like it can become very complicated what may happen in the end. Considering character actions affecting each other, and what public perception is. I don't understand why they don't let you overwrite the 'world state' of your original playthrough.
I think you can replay a single chapter over and over, and then which ever you end on starts the next chapter. So you can't really skip ahead. And if you want to go back 3 chapters then you have to replay everything after. Your Kara story didn't save since you didn't replay the other chapters after the escaped.
I once saw a video saying that, all of connors deviancy starts from sinply saving that fish
🤔

Man I was wracking my brain trying to think of what to name these episodes lol

So I've heard! haven't had a chance to watch it yet

Ooh I really like the idea of this! You should do it for Disco Elysium too when you're done with that!
Oh man, I'd love to replay Disco too but it's a much longer game than this, so not sure that'll be on the channel 😅
1:00:00 Kara also has the option to still not do anything after becoming Deviant.Connor on the other hand...

Played it, LOVED it!
No way! I found myself a bit sad when your original playthrough ended, this is such a treat to see on my front page :D
😊

I was thinking of going randomly at first but it would have been pretty chaotic!

Will be checking those out too, probably at the very end!

Ooh, didn't know you could find some elsewhere, figured it was the store or nothing

Weren't there free wire cutters on the generator?
I could swear he saw wire cutters somewhere on his first play through, that may be it
@@mephistophelicpierogi i think maybe in the store!
if you want more TV series with androids, I thought of a Swedish series called "real people" from 2012
or "äkta människor" in Swedish. :)
Oooh looks interesting! I'll try to watch it

I guess because events are influenced by so many actions before, but it would be as simple as just having multiple save files for the flowchart

Quite time consuming x_x
Oh nice! I'm dying to see your thoughts on other options. Let's gooo!
46:45 You've got to play The Case of the Golden Idol
it's on my list! looking forward to that one for sure
