I think Ra’s was done better in Batman Begins then he was in the actual comics. He’s supposed to be Batman’s greatest foe but he’s rarely depicted as such not to mention he doesn’t really feel like a Batman villain. Batman villain are usually psychos in Halloween costumes but Ra’s isn’t that at all, he’s more like a James Bond villain
Imagine in a Plot Twist that after Batman/Bruce rejected Ra's Al Ghul's Offer to take over his League of Assassins, Ra's replaces him with The Red Hood/Jason Todd (who seems like the Perfect candidate for the job)!
I don't think so, according to the *Shadow War* DLC side op in *Batman:Arkham Knight,* his daughter, Nyssa became leader of the L.O.A after Ra's started lying on his deathbed, his last words to Batman were "proud.....of......you"
I still think Liam Neeson is the best Ra’s Al ghul but I didn’t like the reveal that Ducard takes up the Ra’s Al Ghul title. It should’ve been he always was Ra’s
Ra's al ghul never trained or mentored Batman/Bruce Wayne in his formative years! In fact he was never even conscious of his existence until Talia already had a previous encounter with Batman. The League of Assasins/Demon objective was Bigger than Gotham.
So, Birth Of The Demon is CANON? I loved the graphic novel, but I always thought that it was basically an Elseworlds (Based on the ending with Ra’s killing Bruce with a shovel, it basically had to be .).
The comics as far as ras al ghul goes is more on the science fiction side of things. Which is fine, I just think his portrayal in chris nolan's films was a lot more accurate to real world. The Lazarus pit and him being resurrected is great but I think it works better if he's sort of haunting Bruce from beyond the grave as he does in the dark knight rises.
Done well virtually everywhere when attached to Batman but was UTTERLY USELESS and UNINTELLIGENT when they tried to attached him to Green Arrow in Arrow.
I actually like his origin being a mystery. I like the idea of ras al ghul being more of a title passed down to each league of shadows member thus "being" immortal. Instead of a literal pit. I like the Nolan version where he's like ex British special forces turned mercenary then joins the league
@@seth9655 That's the Authors Fault. The Character was insanely Great and something new. I agree that they overused him in the end, but still his Batman stories are some of the best narratively. I would put them in the same echelon of Series like the killing Joke
