Excellent video Po. But there is still one more piece to the puzzle. Getting the visa allows you to "knock at the door" to enter the US. The Immigration/Customs officer has the final say if you will enter or not. He/She will ask a series of questions to determine your entry status. If the officer is not happy about the answers or any other part of the questioning. The officer will send you to a secondary inspection for further examination. Many people have been denied entry and have their visas cancelled at the Port of Entry. People forget that part.
Key takeaway: You must prove to the Consular Officer that you have enough ties to your home country in order to overcome 214b - intending immigrant. Example of ties: Eligible employment, family ties, children are in school, you have a home and paid / paying for it, travel/s, etc. Also you must provide reason for the purpose of travel you are applying for. You can't study or work when on a tourist visa. All in all, you just need to be truthful in your application and in answering questions cause they base their refusal on your application. Remember, a visa is just a permission to enter the US. It is a privilege and can be cancelled.
My relative has just been denied for Tourist visa to accompany a Us retired citizen 87 yrs old was denied with only these questions . Family ties, no children. The Us citizen to accompany has documents enough to support the requirements that she is responsible for all traveling expenses to accompany on her doctors annual appointments in US. Thanks if you can give us advice.
Save your time and money my girlfriend was turned down for a visitor's Visa because she did not own property in the Philippines even though she had lots of family there.
What is the purpose of visit and how long is the stay? That’s how much you should have to food, transportation and accommodation if you don’t have a sponsor.

hello po. Can you make a tutorial on how to apply for a US visa following the new process po.
Hi Madam, pwede ba ko maging exempted sa no interview? may 2 years pa ko bago mag expire ang US visa ko 2027 maexpire.
No changes po sa tourist visa renewal...prior approved for 10 years before? Still same drill?
Hi mam, is it automatic denial of B1/B2 application if I have pending I-130 petition? And also for the renewal b1/b2?

Does your girlfriend have a solid employment? That will be her strongest ties to get approved.
