Hey Slingers! This week, we're calling all of our viewers, pilots or not, to join us in taking up a pledge. At Sling, we're trying to reshape the lens through which pilots are viewed, and to do that, we have joined the Fly Friendly SoCal group! We, along with many other flight schools and groups of pilots, have joined together under the consensus that pilots will thrive best in an environment where pilots respect homeowners and vice versa. Fly Friendly SoCal aims to educate pilots about being courteous to the places they travel and train at by following Fly Friendly Procedures. We also want to inform those on the ground about the potential reasons for our pilots’ decision-making regarding taking to the skies.
