    Four stripes as an FO?

Hello @skogis06. The uniform Pablo is wearing in the video is of our academy. At our academy you have one stripe when you join, 2 when you complete your solo, 3 when you complete the CPL, and 4 for our instructors. Pablo has worked with us as an instructor so he has 4 stripes.

Congratulations Pablo and QualityFly! I am 34 years old, always wanted to become an airline pilot and started an integrated course few years ago but due to COVID and other circumstances I had to quit and I had a sad experience during the process. I many times think reengaging and starting again but I am afraid about age. Do you see coherent to start with 34/35 your modular course? And also, is it realistic to think that an european airline could hire a almost 40 years old as a first officer with almost no experience when finishing the course? I live in Madrid. Buenos vuelos!

I'm in the same circumstances. I'm based in Amsterdam. I think the age shouldn't be a problem as long as motivation is there. I've heard that there is a huge shortage of pilots. Wishing you the best mate. Buena suerte

Hello Nicolas! Thanks for your message. We have had graduates who have gone on to be pilots in European airlines/ are in recruitment processes with airlines with 40 years +, and Ryanair for example, say that age is not a concern for them. It is more about the ability of the candidate as a pilot and their motivation (so like any other job really). However, we would recommend you to start your training as soon as possible.
We have currently filled all our places on the Integrated course for 2024, with the next intake in March 2025. For modular courses we also don't have availability to 2025, but if you would like more information please get in touch with our Admissions Officer here in Spain: Juan Antonio de Soto, +34 659 68 81 58.
We wish you all the best!
