Very interesting viewpoints , most market farmers in California are 💯 percent into plastic and drip culture and wobblers make a lot of sense and I agree about having more life within the soil and I have a extremely high organic profile density of soil that I can’t forget to water and keep alive for future growth

Thanks Connor, you laid out some very good points that I never considered. My water supply is not endless all summer long so I have been trying to preserve. I can see that there is a cost to that and now that I am planting more I also have more work now. A good deep water seems to be a better idea for my context. I will be trying out some wobblers this year for sure. Happy New Year.

Each and every farm is individual, soil conditions and make up along with weather and seasonal aka zone location. Combined with how the farmer plants their crops will determine how each waters. Everyone will have what they think works best for them. Personally wobblers work best here for me in Texas with the climate and soil here.

I would think that the weeds that germinate in the paths as a result of being watered on by the wobblers would be an issue.

Weeds will germinate regardless so it is important to keep paths cultivated.

    Bonjour,
Merci pour la qualité de vos vidéos.
Je me suis équipé de 4 cannes d’arrosage.
Ma question est la suivante : « combien faut il d’arroseur dans une petite ferme, comment les répartir ? »
    Belle journée à vous.

I have the opportunity to use some 20x100 hoop houses/ high tunnels, and have to go with raised beds instead of growing in the ground (previous users put compacted gravel down). Would you still recommend a sprinkler setup for this context? Or do you think drip would be better for my application, as I'm speculating?

In hoop houses, I use both drip and overhead.
