Does this require an unplanted space at the end of the row towards the direction you will be moving the plants? If so, does it have to be the same length as the vine will be laying down horizontally or can it bunch up a bit? This is the only part I couldn't understand and made me think there must be some guesswork to decide how long of an empty space to leave. Do you find much variability between years with the same varieties in how long they get?
You have me convinced to switch to wickets for my five tomato houses. I see some scorch on the leaf tips of the tomato leaves. I see this once in a while, do you know what causes it?
Thank you for making informative videos for people to use and learn from.
Glad you like them!
This is BRILLIANT! Thank you! 👍👍
Thanks Conor. Great explanation, it really helped to see it start to finish. I’m going to be trying out hook and wicket this coming growing season!
Very explanatory! What is the specific tomato variety used in the hoop house (the early season tomato you mention)?
Great video
Do you run your tomatoes with one or two heads?
Is it possible to use this system with 2 heads tomatoes?
Thank you so much for your work!
Yes you can use two heads with this system.

Might be a nutrient deficiency
Of the four lengths of trellis hooks you offer, how do I decide which one is right for me?
There is a chart on this page - www.neversinktools.com/products/trellis-hook
how many clips are needed for one tomato plant ? Only two?
