In order to minimize carcinogens inside the cab, gear and air packs will be stored along the body of the HDRP, ensuring a safe environment for their firefighters. A dedicated compartment behind the crew cab will house extinguishers for easy access during emergencies. The top mount configuration of the apparatus offers the operator maximum visibility on scene, allowing for efficient and effective operation. Forcible entry tools and a chainsaw will be securely housed on the rear compartment of the apparatus. By designating extrication equipment to the officer's side, firefighters have added protection in their workspace when blocking roadways during emergencies. A tilt-down tray above the officer's side rear wheel will hold a RIT pack and technical rescue gear, providing quick access in critical situations. Medical equipment, a little giant ladder and turnout gear will be conveniently located in the compartment on the officer's side behind the partition. To enhance visibility to the public and ensure safety during night responses, an extensive lighting package has been mounted on the apparatus.
