- Springfield Fire Department has taken delivery of their first of seven #Enforcer #Pumpers! Each #Pumper was designed with a severe duty bumper for ease of deployment in alleyways and for vehicle accidents. To secure the engines quickly, power locks were added. All vinyl seats were installed with a 17” cushion for ease of cleaning and maintenance. Select compartments are equipped with electrical outlets for charging tools and monitors. Per firefighter preference, forward facing SCBA seats were installed for increased visibility when arriving on scene. Above the EMS compartments, ballistic equipment will be stored. A smaller pump panel design allowed for a shorter wheelbase and increased maneuverability. By omitting crosslays, their department was able to expand compartment space availability. On top of each engine, a deck gun valve is placed next to the deck gun for increased user control. On the rear of the apparatus, the hosebed is lowered to minimal height. Due to prior loss of communication during extreme weather conditions, an AM/FM radio is an added safety feature to each apparatus. #SpringfieldIL

It’s not a new thought up thing to have webbing covering the rear hose bed with seat belt locks connected to a lanyard type pull cord . WOW !!!

pierce can do anything to your specs, my city got two of these engines and damn they look good. Expensive as hell but if you want the best you gotta pay. In fact everyone around is going with this company
So basically this engine was built of ISO specifications lol . Be nice to the city now . Dont wanna make them mad and downsize
