It totally blows my mind and frustrates me seeing thumbs-down when a fire department takes the time to simply share and show others new equipment they've purchased for improving fire department response-services!. Doesn't make sense??? What does make you few thumbs-down people happy...oh apparently nothing in life!
As my old granny used to say: Everyone is entitled to their own stupid opinion. But two years later Allen, I see 578 thumbs up & none down. I think you scary us into liking this engine.
Way to go Concord! Pierce (only the best for the best)! Hello from your Easter North Carolina brothers @ North Lenoir Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Kinston NC!
Very nice! I really like the lower profile more compact engines! Especially beneficial if have tight streets and lower bridge overs in the response area! Thanks for sharing!
Devin Pederson I am afraid sir that you are incorrect. Just because they 2019 engines does not mean they are already a year old as you were indicating. These 2 rigs in particular were built to a 2019 enforcer spec, meaning they were designed in 2019 but were only recently built. Also, this video could have been sitting around for a few months going through editing and all of that fun jazz meaning that this quite probably could have been recorded in late 2019.
2019 at we’re still fitting roof mounted mechanical fans for cooling the interior of the cab. But yeah, the door handles light up. Why do we never go with booster reals on any trucks?
I love one 1" booster reel located in that compartment right under the hose bed. Great of rubbish outside a structure, leaves, tanbark, even small brush fires. Quick to deploy and pick up getting the unit available sooner. They seem to have a bad name from when companies used the for structure fires.
As many of us know, sound heads in the direction it is played/shot out towards, anyone know if the siren speakers being shot out in the 45 degree angle make a difference, does it work, is it effective?? In theory it should be more effective for cross traffic/streets, but we know theory doesn't always play out exactly in practical situations. Thx & beautiful rig, love the black accents w/red leds.
Since they're on both sides angled out, I would assume the angle on them is good enough to get part of the sound in the front, and somewhat to the rear.
In addition to being visually appealing, the rigs seem well laid out and without a bunch of useless bells and whistles. BTW, is there a deck gun up top?
@@MattFFEMT watersupply, thats the point! If you dont have super high pressures on the hydrants youre never gonna be abel to get that much water in the engine, also at Draft im wondering how they want to get that much water through the draft hoses because a 110 Millimeter large drafthose can barley Supply 750 gallons per minute over a hight of 1,5 meters.

Its a great looking rig!! But come on, he is a Lieutenant in anyones's fore department?? The guy simply stumbled through that very small video and he looks like he can not manage a simple sentence much less a structure fire. I would be scared as shit if that were the person who was giving a size up at a house fire and I was in the second due...If you are going to send someone to take delivery of a piece of new fire equipment please send someone who can talk english and not fumble through a 4 minute video.
You sir need to come off your high and mighty platform! You are just jealous because he is featuring a new Pierce, and you are hauling around in a 20-year old KME.
Are you from up north or the mid west? Because if you didn't know, let me give you some incite into the south. We may stumble some of our sentences but regardless they know how to do their job. Great looking Engines.. I love the diamond plate in the cab, only thing I would change is, I would have went with vinyl seats instead of cloth seats

Awesome rig!! Good job Concord FD!! Wish Charlotte FD would go with Pierce!!!!
So do I. Raleigh runs Pierce and they are sweet.
So do I. Raleigh runs Pierce and they are really nice.
Nice job presenting the new engine. Good luck - Looks great !
Beautiful Engine. Like the way its arranged.
That is a beast of an engine! Wish our department had something better than a 2009 engine
WOW ! IMPRESSIVE ! MY GOD BLESS HER, AND ALL WHO SERVE WITH HER !🇺🇲
Great trucks!!! Good looking too!!
Wow! These new Pierces are beautiful! Great job!

Great looking truck Concord!
Good luck packing that deep narrow hose bed, especially the compartments on the ends

Well done video👍👍💯🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
That’s a cool rig!
Nice looking engine
Nice truck
I’m surprised that they didn’t add the roto ray to the front

When I saw this I thought it was concord Massachusetts or concord NH.
What would be stored in that Knox box?
What year it looks new like 2020
Oh beautiful rig
2000 galons per minute pump, Did i understand that right? What do you need that much for when your not on an airfield???
Terrakx FB I would say for any large commercial fires. It is better to have to gpm's and not need them, then needing the water and cannot pump enough
Pump rating is only at draft, modern fire pumps can pump well above rated capacity as long as the water supply can support it.

Guessing it costs more than $1M?
Not many trucks cost less than that nowadays.
