@Ally Kit Corner you reckon? We rule the world, do we? 🤣 @Martin Hemsing I'm ex British military and I agree with you. The Bundeswehr Wachbataillon are great to watch. This Ally Kit is some bigot who hasn't got a clue.
How gracefully and smartly they march. Here's to the His Majesty's Foot Guards. Yes, what is the name of the March the band is playing? A great tune. Thank you for sharing.
@@composimmonite3918 Yeah, it's been awhile, but I'm fairly certain this kind of thing isn't as common. Around here it's once a year and whenever there's a change of command, I believe.
Many militaries world wide are on par with England’s. The difference with the King’s guard is that they parade daily with the world watching. That’s a lot of practice!!
Today I was lucky enough to be able to watch the guards returning from Buckingham Palace, without all the barriers in place, it was a truly wonderful sight. I did take a video myself but the quality is not great.
Double soled ammo boots... 13 studs and takes a week, from new, to get them that shiny..... doesn't come out of a bottle (Morello) or issued that way. We need to become a military based nation again. These guys are our heroes and aren't talked about our respected enough. If I was prime minister, I'd make sure veterans are looked after and I'd visit army bases and make sure they're being paid properly and properly funded

Well, much of our Monarchy is directly connected to German ancestry; they weren't once called Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, for nothing! Many European Royal families are all entwined.
They are only the King's Guard when they're standing at their picket posts outside the royal palaces. This was the massed bands leading No. 7 Company of the Coldstream Guards. Seeing as you're so obsessed with videoing the British Army performing public duties, I would have thought that you'd put a bit of effort into researching wtf you are actually posting videos of.
So many guards, beautiful 🥰

Good for them, matelots are glad they enjoy coordinated walking, no space on a ship, plus it moves around

Die regimentskinder or The children of the regiment

Probably a dress rehearsal for next week's state visit of the president of South Africa.

Looks like two Companies of Infantry. Plus the band. Not quite a Battalion.
See some mini-guards (musicians) as well, some with oversized costs.

British soldiers can march, but American soldiers can fight.
