- What an incredible time to be practicing dentistry! This patient had congenitally missing cuspids. Has spent considerable time in ortho and wants a smile that matches her personality. In a quick 1hr appointment we scanned, designed and 3D printed a trial smile using the power of exocad and rapid printing using Sprintray. She absolutely loved her trial smile! She wanted final veneers as soon as possible. I was finally able to fit her in about 6 months later, I got her back for delivery of her final printed no prep veneers using a ceramic filled resin ONX Tough 2.0.
Same design was used for the individual final veneers as the trial smile. In exocad this is easy! We delivered these veneers in about 1hr. So literally 2 hrs of total chair-time between trial smile and veneer delivery!!
That's faster than you can make a putty for injection molding and was way easier to do!! We now have cases out at 3years and looking great! Join me in my 3D printed veneer course to learn the entire workflow.
Including design, printing and finishing.
Exactly how it supposed to be!!
I have worked injected composite and it is very time consuming ❤❤

Very good work. Greetings from Portugal
Thank you very much!
Hi Doc, I love your cases. what kind of 3d face scanner do you use? Rayface? Thanks
Do you design the trial smile as mockup and then veneers?
Both mockup
Very innovative way, but do you have any idea about long term color stability of restoration?
We have cases at 3 years now. Look little better than direct resin but not as good as porcelain
@@wallyrenne thanks for the answer.
excellent work! what kind of resin did you use?
ONX TOUGH 2.0
Nice case. Greetings from Chihuahua, Mexico. Do you cure again on Procure2 after characterization with candy coating technique?
Absolutely
@@wallyrenne Many Thanx. (Do I need to use the same program/amount of time? )
