Month ago, I bought a brand new 2024 Cascadia. From 1st day, digital screens are not working properly ( settings are not staying in memory. Every time, I must adjust settings after starting the engine ). Android auto play, power inverter stopped working in the first week. The power steering pump and ABS got to fix in the second week. In cold weather, have big temperatures difference between the driver and passenger side plus have water leak from roof. In one month, my truck already had 3 warranty repairs. For ABS, I got to pay $1000 . Freightliner will install new digital screens, BUT screens are not available, and they don't have any idea when they will be able to fix it. Water leak and temperature issue they are not able to find.
Is there a way to lock in your left dash settings? Sometimes when I turn the truck off the screen on both the left and right are blank. Sometimes they stay the way they were before I turned it off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Заходишь на правом мониторе в SETTINGS, появится таблица где в первом пункте увидишь DASH нажимаешь на это и появится регулировка яркости от MIN до MAX
Hey Blazita, Tough to let you know exactly what's happening on your truck without seeing it. I'd recommend asking a Freightliner dealer next time you find yourself at a dealership or looking in your user manual. My thought is that you're needing to go into the gauges menu and add them, but it's tough to say.
So how do you play music from bluetooth? My 2025 with digital dash only gives me options to make phone calls. I never need the truck for phone calls. That’s what a headset is for. I need my iPad to play music, but that is not available in the newer Cascadias. Disappointing.
@@richardconlin-firsttruckce5023 I found it finally. If anyone else here is confused, you have to press the music button twice to get to it. My mistake was tapping it, not seeing anything there, and then moving on to other buttons to search, instead of tapping the same button twice.
hey there...maybe a weird quesition..i drive the truck in a simulator game called american truck simulator..i wonder..does it not have an digital overview inform of letters how mutch miles you can drive fith the current fuel you have?
Hey Ravshan, I’m not a technician, but I can tell you that every engine model will idle at a different rpm. If you’re idling for long periods of time newer DD15s typically like to be around 500 at base idle or 900 for extended periods.
ok everything seems alright, just ask your self a 2 questions, how much fuel do i have left and can it show it to me IN MILES because that would be really helpful and ahead of the competition. just picture yourself on the the road and the fuel is in RED ( because human choises ) and the question pops up ( nescecity is the mother of invention and inovation ) can i make it to the next fuel station
I'm no engineer, but i'd imagine between axle ratios, engine options, torque/hp choices, load weight and aerodynamics, terrain, driver habits and all the other factors it becomes extremely difficult to give an accurate distance in miles. I've seen the same truck with the same load be driven the same route by 2 different drivers and result in a 2mpg difference in fuel economy.
My radio/media screen is totally black. Is that just a broken screen possibly? Thsnk you! You saved the day! At least I have satellite radio. And also is their a coaxial hole to manually play music from phone?
Why would freightliner do this dumb digital screen crap? Peterbilt and kenworth are both having to get trucks towed back to the dealership because of moving too fast with this BS TECHNOLOGY
How to remove 4 big pluses on the right screen

What about the weight gauges?
All gauges are available as a screen option on the RH side screen. There are also a few options on the LH side screen display.

Do you know how I can get the total hours on the unit and not just trip hours?

Hello,
It's absolutely available on the digital dash. Check in the audio menu or call your local dealership for some assistance.

How to see weight in fyfth wheel?
You’re able to choose which gauge are showing on the rh side screen.
I’m understand, but i can’t see in the list this gauge. Is it possible that Cascadia 2024 don’t have this gauge in this comlete set?
Id visit a local dealer and see if they can help you out. It’s possible to order without the axle air pressure gauges, but unlikely.
Probably they removed fifth wheel gauge from their settings!!!!

Hey Dennis,
I believe it does not have that feature since there are so many variations for fuel tank sizes.
Does this have apple car play where you can mirror your phone screen and apps?
You bet. There’s a USB-C connection to the right of the screens.
That doesn’t do anything for my iPad. But it does charge the device, so have to use headset/earbuds for music while driving, unfortunately.
My idle so high what idle should be?

There is a power button to turn the screen on and off, does that work for you?
I prefer normal with gauges, screens are risk

Sounds like this wouldn’t be the option for you my friend
