@@NoNonsenseWhisky not bad vin, you can tell you are a little nervous but still miles better than i could do, you are way more comfortable now in front of the camera though and the set up is much better now imo. you had a tumbler to taste with and liked sheried whiskey back then lol. if i get a new whiskey i always see if you and a couple other whiskey chanels have reviewed them and i drink it at the same time. cheers
I love this whisky 🥃 but always add a teaspoon of water which is how I enjoy higher abv whiskies. It always delivers. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and take care Vin. Ciao and happy new year! S.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for the kind words about the whisky! I completely understand the desire to add a little bit of water to higher abv whiskies - it can help to open up the flavors and make the drinking experience more enjoyable. I'm glad to hear that this technique has worked well for you with this particular whisky. Happy new year to you as well, and cheers!
I picked up a bottle to have for Christmas. to date wild turkey 101 is the highest proof ive ever had, but that goes down easy. we will see if I need an ice cube or not.
I love the 15 as well as this. I intend to try another soon. A good night is had with a bottle of this and a bottle of Aberlour A bunadh for comparison
I really like this one. It's nice neat and with water. It's got a huge bite too it. I can only drink a dram of this at a time. I don't think it's for everyone. Going to get myself my first bottle soon.
Hello. please tell me. Thatcher, the British Prime Minister, loved Glenfar Class 105. It is a rumor said in Japan. Have you heard this story? If you have heard, I want to know more.
Ha ha ha... I tend to do that with the really terrible ones too, but if I really like something I can't get enough and I keep reaching for it until it's gone... It's those that are good but not great or not horrible which tend to stay on my bar the longest. The other ones that stay on the bar a long time are the more expensive ones just because I'm savoring them slowly even if I like them a lot and at half or one third the price I'd be inhaling them...
The 105 carried a 10yo statement for a few years, but alas it's been dropped again. It was always subtle and in greyed-out characters on the back of the bottle. My bottle is 10yo. You can still find some in stock here and there but most of the new stock (since 2014) is again without age. Despite this, I've heard no one complain about any difference in quality on the 105.
Yes, I had heard the dropped it, mine also carries a 10 year AS on the back. Very good and nicely priced in most parts of Canada, Ontario not being one of them.
Good to be given a bottle! But that doesn't sound very good. Maybe bits of cork? You could try filtering it through some coffee filter paper or similar
I've seen that on my first bottle of Glenfarclas 12, certainly cork bits, shame they use a frail material... Anyways, I drank it all, including the bits 😆
I get you. I've a MacDuff at 63% which I don't add water to, yet I've also a Deanston at 46.3% that jumps out the glass after a splash. It's kinda fun to experiment. Usually I'm too lazy to go get the water 😄
Just tried this today....i love a good cask strength , normally speyside not my bag but i do like this. cheers
Oh wow, dredging the barrel on old reviews 🤣 how's the quality compare to today's videos? I can't bring myself to watch this old content

Great video Vin, we tried the 105 at a whisky festival and loved it! Cheers buddy!
Glenfarclas is great. Congrats on a year and passing 300 subs so fast!

How did you get on with it? 50% isn't too bad I find
Brought back a bottle from Hungary this summer. It's awesome🙂

+No Nonsense Whisky I love the Glengoyne 12 I keep meaning to get a bottle but I keep getting new ones I'll get round to it eventually.
Lovely whisky and great value - not sure how you drink it without at leat a little water.

She was definitely a big whisky drinker. I've also seen the rumours, although they are just rumours. Rumours start somewhere though!

Thank you for your quick reply. It was profitable. I support your success. 👍
No worries at all! I love hearing from whisky fans all over the world 😊 thank you for your support
I hope not...I'd never buy another bottle
I had a bottle of this... It disappeared fast! I must have liked it a lot...

An excellent whisky that's inexplicably cheap. I love it without water. Just be prepared for the sherry hit haha
I almost feel bad for doing a video on it. We need to keep it a secret!
Currently available in China for £26...I bought 3!
I'd have bought 3 as well!
Great Video , what is tha 'solfour' you said ? can you please explain what is it?
Very professionally done!
I saw the 105 20 year here in Seoul but for a way inflated price. I really like the 105.
Does the newer version still carry the 10 year on the back?

I like strong ABV(60%). It's strong like in a kind of goodway. Benfarclas105 caskstrength.cost fifty quid .
Is it original with a black bottle
A really really good whisky.
Been given a bottle and was about to sample, but just noticed small white bits floating in it.... is this normal?

Thanks for the response, so should be okay to drink?

Curious as to why you don't add any water?

Unfortunately this is one of very few Glenfarclas offerings that does contain e150a.
i just read that this doesnt have e150a added,
Superb is correct!😍😍😍

What do you use for editing?
Heathen!
I've never loved a computing device, until I bought a Mac in 2015. I shudder when I think about having to use a windows machine again.
You need to buy a malt whisky glass!
Do you mean a Glencairn? All of my new videos have them
Buy some glencairns!
Old video this. I've got glencairns now (and even sell my own!)
