Nice review, I enjoy the 105 with a bit of water, and use it quite often tin my single malts blending concoctions.
Thanks for doing this one! I enjoyed a dram of it recently, but ended up adding a bit of Glenfarclas 12 to tone it down a bit, as I was struggling a bit with the youthfulness. I will try it again while re-watching this video. Cheers!
Oh how interesting - I've never considered adding another expression from the same distillery to a whisky but I like the thought of it - what a master blender move! ☺️
I’ve tried that one during the speyside way walk. After having a Shepard’s pie in Robbies joint. After a splendid meal we were ready for something heavy. I couldn’t make a choice so I picked something called Robbie’s choice. Which that day was the glennfarclas 105. It blew me away. Back in the Netherlands I bought one immediately. Regularly on my shelf. A stunner
Just spotted at my favorite liquor store a teeling blackpitts. Interesting. And I saw also 2 reviews over there including yours. So I bought it. Bourbon and Sauternes matured. That must be something.
Oh what a lovely memory!
Let me know what you think of Blackpitts - I’m always curious about Teeling and what they do and I found the Blackpitts really interesting ☺️
@@swedishwhiskygirl hi goodmorning. Yes indeed. Saw some reviews before I bought it. It did look quite promising. I’ll let you know what my thoughts were. Did you try the red breast lustau sherry edition already? An absolute 💎 gem
I haven't tried the redbreast lustau but heard great things - what's it like? ☺️
@@swedishwhiskygirl without spoiling anything. Very much layered. Sweet upon sweet upon sweet combined without losing its distinctive res breast character. Wonderfull 😍😍
The 105 is a really good pour. I have to travel out of state to grab it but when I’m out and about it’s not too hard to come by. Enjoyed the review as always.
Thank you for watching, Matthew! What's your favourite sherry bomb?
@@swedishwhiskygirl a favorite is tough but I do go back to Arberlour A’bundah, Ardbeg AN OA, Glenfarclas 105 most often.
One of my fave cask strengths..like the 105!
Lovely tipple and a great price, keep up the great videos X
Thank you for watching! 🙌🏼
I find this at it's best when diluted down to around 50%. One of my favourites so far.
I love it….. I was worried I was going to get a sulphur smell … I got that from 12 yr macallan it was very eggy and not good, but the 105 was nothing like that. It was pure Sherry . Lovely stuff.
You are so soft lady and it's so aggressive whiskey 😊😊😊❤❤
Most people think it's a No Age Statement scotch but in reality it's a 10 year old. Clearly printed at the back of box and bottle. So please read
