There was a show in Columbus in 2012 where I was front row, closer to Pat than anyone else, and he was furthest to the right. They were playing "Standing O", and I was grinning from ear to ear, singing along, taking my time watching each of the guys from left to right do their thing. When I got to Pat, he was staring back at me and smiling too. Somehow, my grin got bigger. Best moment I've had at any live performance.
I was at that show at the Temple Theater, front row center thanks to the hospitality of Pat's dad Tony. I've seen Wilco over 10 x but that was the greatest show and greatest experience EVER.
Such a brilliant musician and a wonderful warm guy. I have been a long time Wilco fan and each one of their members add something very special to Jeff’s songs. The most underrated band out there!
I saw Pat solo at an Elliott Smith tribute. His voice and guitar sounded incredible; so clear. Super talented. He can literally play Triangle and it elevates the tune. Bravo. Very nice video
Pat, I always look for the fullness that you install on each song and the varieties of ways that you do it. I hope that the roughest toils have jived out their days and you will be rewarded with the fulfillment of knowing that Wilco fans such as me, adore every creative way that you contribute to each song that you and the band plays.
I know it’s not a popular opinion but I have to say that The Autumn Defense > Wilco and it has everything to do with this man…. Love Pat’s presence on both stage and record
Pat was 11yrs old when Lennon was shot. What an awful way to be turned on to the Beatles. He's right, all the radio stations were playing Lennon songs morning noon and night

When I see Pat, the words solid and well-rounded come to mind. I think the world of him as a musician.
