This was one was of my favorite Witcher books. It reminded me of the short stories in last wish and sword of destiny, but in a long form story. Focusing on geralt and dandelion it showed where Witcher shines imo
Sapkowski is definitely my favorite fantasy writer, and I love all of the witcher books, but I gotta be honest this one's my least favorite. I think it's because Kerack seems like such an awful place to be stuck in and it hurts to read all the bullshit Geralt has to deal with there, which is a testament to Sapkowski's writing lol Also thank you for posting these books! I have all of them in book form, but Peter Kenny is such an amazing narrator that I can repeatedly listen to these and never get tired
What happened? This book is not as good as the earlier ones. I'm not knocking it or anything.. this book just feels different. But thank you very much for all the uploads!
Yeah it is lacking for sure. Not terrible, just mid. It’s kind of an unnecessary addition to the universe since the saga has ended. I love Sapkowski, but I’m pretty sure he wrote this to get more money lol.
This book is a prequel, released far after the main series was written. Most people recommend you read this one LAST. The next book you should read is "The Sword of Destiny" which is a collection of short stories like "The Last Wish". After that, read the full length novels. Important note: The epilogue of this book (season of storms) spoils the ending of the whole series so definitely don't read the epilogue untill you have finished every other Witcher book.
Maybe its been a while or msybe its cause I'm used to reading the books myself... but this doesn't sound like a Witcher book, sounds very modern day and lacking compared the the other books in the series.
Please, don’t edit, but make another comment! Happy listening!

This audiobook/book series was amazing! Thanks a million for this!

Hi to everyone coming here from the last audiobook list that went private. Im almost sad that this is it, the last book.
I, too, get sad about that
It’s been a great journey :-)
On december 2024 we can expect next witcher book so... :)
Yeah Sapkowski is working on another witcher title right now. He said it'd be done by the end of the year. @emmaplover3228
The Polish version is supposed to release in late 2024 and the English version in early 2025.
Thank you very much for uploading all of these. I have really enjoyed them. ❤😊🎉
Thank you .Another version out there ...ends out of order 10.18.23
Wdym out of order? Did you read them out of order or did the booms go out of order for some reason?
Apparently I had forgotten about the muscular farting women since last time I listened to the audiobook.
That was wiiiiild
omg wow this book is probably my favorite in the series along with Lady of the lake.. so freakin good
Since last book geralt has lost his group and managed to practice magic without his necklace
Geralt's encounter with a witcher from the school of the cat. 10:57:02
Sobbing, im so sad it’s over
I’ve read these books like 6 times I just can’t move on😂
I'm on my second go through and already planning on a 3rd
I can't wait for the new one in 2025 !!!
Wait what?
@3shutarmurg Sapkowski announced another Witcher book. Was supposed to be 2024 but I guess it was pushed back(?) Not sure
@@Zytharis I heard 2025 for years
@heatherracho Maybe the article I saw about it was just incorrect then, wouldn't be surprising
@@Zytharis it'll be released in Poland in 2024 and then (translated) globally in 2025
According to Google at least

This one is actually my favorite because it's a full length story with only Geralt and no other distractions (Yen and Ciri)

This book was interesting but o think Geralt’s story is best told as his coming and being a father. Geralt will always be a father.

@domusavires19 at least he completed it..still waiting for george rr Martin to do the same lol
@@domusavires19I heard that he wrote this book as a wedding gift for a friend because the friend wanted more from the story.

I think people say to go to this after last wish. Is it possible to change its order?
