Karen is my favorite female singer. Anytime one of their songs is played over the air (rarely now) or in a grocery store of whatever, it always stops me in my tracks.

As mentioned, Karen Carpenter is hands down the best female vocalist ever..., maybe the best ever period. The ease that she could sing with and her vocal artistry are unmatched to this day.
