- Just a quick update to keep you guys in the loop and in the know - in case you want to be in the know. The Monday livestreams have to be on break for a while to accommodate my clinical work, but I'm trying to figure out how to replace that or maybe move it to another day. If you have suggestions or things you'd like to see here, let's hear it in the comments.

Good luck dude!
Thanks!
Noooooo
bro i hope you can reply
i had an panic attack nearly 50 days ago i developed mild agoraphobia from which i nearly recovered
sometimes i get panic attack like feel for 30 seconds
also i get anxiety everytime when i am sitting and surfing through my phone
and negative thoughts
i haven’t had my second panic attack till now
what are the tips you can give me
Most people are hoping I will give "tips" on how to stop those attacks or instantly calm them down but my content is always focused on explaining why that's not needed and how to navigate through that triggered state. Check out these episodes of the podcast for a bit of an overview:

We are all so grateful to you! 😊 good luck Drew
Thank you for the support and the kinds words. :-)
Bummer. Got to do what you got to do. While ok, the disorderd podcast doesnt seem as direct or reachable, seems a bit more scattered and hard to listen to to be honest. Good thing you have hundreds of videos here to help the masses. Good luck!
Thanks for the well wishes. I appreciate it! :-)
All perfectly understandable Drew. Good luck and best wishes, I'm sure you will smash it. Go for it!
Thank you! :-)
Good luck Drew! You deserve a lot of credit for all of your accomplishments!! I wish you success!! 👍
I appreciate that!
So happy for you drew! Dont worry all of us panicked ppl will be alive and well still waiting 😂🎉
Aww thank you for the support. I appreciate that! :-)
The best anxiety exposure is to stop consuming mental health content on the internet and doing what you would RATHER be doing.
Instead of watching the monday livestreams I will go do something else that I value.
Fear is the Mind Killer
I. LOVE. THIS. Watching videos, reading books, and listening to podcasts is - ultimately - not recovery. It certainly informs and supports recovery but recovery is a thing we DO, learning from the doing.
I listen to you book now at audio. And it is great. I have also bought the book in a hard copy. Because I want to have it - own it🤩
I must say - you revolutionizes how to fix anexiety. This book is gold like all your other stuff on YT and more.
Haha what you say about breathing. Hahahahaha you always get told you have to breath. Tell that to a person who hyperventilate. That is how crazy all this is. It is a good example. People hyperventilate because they have breathing to mutch. And you explain this to. What to do when hyperventilating. So I have done that when it feels like I am hyperventilating and I then have not got «air hunger». Breathe less is the answer😂 Not to give the person with an panic attac - the impossible task to breath😝
I dont really know what ANY studie can learn you😂 You are like a genious professor who just takes all the «mystic» about anexiety away. But good studies❤️
Well thank you for the very kind words, but I will remind you that I didn't invent any of this. I might be explaining it, but you're the one doing the work of implementing what I explain, so you get all the credit here! 🙂
You explain it so it is easy to understand. That is what is missing IMO for the most. You invented your way of explaining and it is great. And you cover all the topics and cut the crap. People with anexiety do not need more than your YT channel to get a lot better IMO.
All the best Drew! You gotta do what you gotta do!!!
Thank you. I appreciate the support. :-)
It would be great if you move it to another day.
Thank you very much from Spain!
Why not just merge the two sessions on a Friday with YT and Instagram
Good idea, except Instagram is still a largely closed platform so I can't multi-stream there in any effective way. Plus the IG stream is for a much smaller audience so the interaction is different. The UA-cam streams are open so the comments section gets big fast and scrolls pretty quickly. Maybe if IG allows streaming from third party platforms in a more complete way at some point, we can do that.
So happy for you Drew! 😊
Thank you. :-)
Sad, but completely understandable. Good luck!
Struggling again here. I know it is my anxiety feeding the agoraphobia so at least I know that. I have submerged myself into my food forrest and would be happy to be a hermit. Having to medicate to leave home. Think I need to know it is ok to be in this state a while from someone who can relate. The loss of my precious dog of nearly 16 years a month ago appears to have triggered my severe agoraphobia again. I cannot seem to pull myself out of this rut. Let time heal and garden? I am missing family events right now which is fueling the horrible anxiety. 😢
Im so sorry for that loss. Its a real loss and highly impactful! Nobody ever needs me permission to feel things because feeling things - sadness, loss, grief, confusion, fear - are part of a human life. The part we always care about is reacting to those big emotions and the sensations/thoughts they produce as if they are dangerous or too much for us to cope with. When grieving its normal to take a step back and maybe need more rest or to be a bit less engaged in with life. That happens to many many people so give yourself a little room for that. Be kind to yourself, give yourself time to grieve that loss, but try to notice when you're treating all those big emotions as threats that you must retreat from. That's the part you can work on gently. Remember that recovery is not eliminating big feelings or anxiety. Recovery is interacting with it and relating to it in a new way. Aim there. xx
