    That type of shaft coupler broke in my CNC, so I'm using another type with rubberish plastic in the middle.

      Doesn't that style coupler introduce lash? ~P

      @@sbirdranch Never measured, but it was a very tight fit. Probably over time it can wear, but not break.

      It's called a spider coupler. It is compressed. ​@@sbirdranch

    Did you figure it out? 30ipm is way too slow!

      The speed is limited to a harmonic vibration that starts in the Y axis screws. They start to oscillate, then bind just enough to have the steppers skip steps. It is slow, buy honestly, I only notice it a little when doing a rapid...and Fusion but the kybosh on that in their free version. ~P
